Hi, does someone have one of this?
Im looking to buy one, but i have a doubt about it. On my older pc i got an integrated sound card from the gigabyte x58-ud7; it was a realtek, and it allow me to change all the input devices from the drivers, let me explain it, i plug the headphone at the green port, and the 2.1 speakers at the black port, at the drivers i can set the two ports for the same output label, and when i wanna put down the headphones and listen a movie from the bed, or listen music without be at the pc, i just have to turn un the speakers. With my actual pc, p8p67 Evo b3, i cant do that anymore and its a realtek too, so thats why im looking for a pci sound card.
Does the Auzentech Forte drivers allow me to do that? plug two different devices and allow me to reproduce the same ouput line on them?
Thank you very much and sorry for my english, i did my best to explain this xD
Edit:
As i saw, there can be connected headphones and the speakers at the same time, with different ports, does the work at the same time or can be choosen easily from the driver panel?

shimmy,
i do have the p8p67 EVO as well and - to be blunt - OnBoard-Aufio is always
a NoNo if you want decent sound and comfort.
It's not Asus' fault though. Keep in mind that any POST WinXP system (Vista/W7)
has 'the' new Mixer/AudioCore which can NOT be replaced anymore.
If you still want quality sound you have 2 options:
a. Route the comple audio signal through your home stereo / receiver and control
it from there.
b. Invest some addizional cash and get a really good soundcard
-> M-Audio for good clean sound.
-> Creative (ex.) Titanium or ProAudio Series. get one with a front panel.

I, for example, process and control everything via a Teufel Concept E 400
which is a bit more expensive but worth any single penny - if your like clean soimd that is.

You can sort of do it DimasL. I'm pretty sure my X-Fi can do rear-speakers + front port at the same time (I plug my headset into the front port when I use it; it then automatically mutes the rear port).
Got front audio ports in your case?
Using Black+Green for the same output is a bit against the logic though, the whole point of them is to be able to send different inputs to different outputs. I'll give it a try for you anyway; Creative and not Auzentech, but if Creative can do it, so can Auzentech.

I got front ports on my tower, but i dont use them, i dont wanna have to plug and plug thing, i wanna have all plug and can change throught them easily. I allready bought the Auzentech X-Fi Forte 7.1 2g, as i saw i can plug two devices, one at the headphone amplified port and other at the green one, for the speakers, and choose them in the drivers. Ill try that when it comes, lets see if i feel a big change with my PC360 Headphones. Thanks to all.
