Maybe I didn't play enough, what is the first 'checkpoint' ?. |
Checkpoints happen all the time; I get them reliably completing quests or discovering new zones. It would be nice if there was a dedicated save so that at the least you could save the items you've received, but thats ok - I don't think Borderlands had it in there either.

Dont use your legit acccount, make a blank one instead.

Gamma test is completely fucked up, might as well as leave it in the default position and then adjust it when you're actually in-game.
Chose the chinese chick, woke up, pressed my sprint key (Y) which no-clipped me way above the island, crashed to my death.

I made a new steam account and logged in with it on smartsteam. Now Google the rest |
I understand perfectly, but putting files into my steam folder when i have a legit account worth well over 1000 dollars is a little daunting if im honest, I wouldnt mind installing steam onto another drive but since its already installed it wont let me.

Install a #2 copy of Steam somewhere else on your HDD. Create a #2 account using that version of the client. Use smartsteam with that #2 account running on that #2 copy of Steam.
Never run smartsteam when you run client #1 and connect to account #1.

Wow, this "patch" is unbelievable. Was having the most fun with a game playing this co-op in at least a year, and now it runs like stuttering, unoptimized shit. The fuckup of the 8 hours I sank into the campaign is only a tiny side bit that rages me, since at least I really enjoyed that 8 hours.

They should be sucking me off for the updated build, not the "oh noes it's so terrible to have a key that lets you do noclip." Noclip key > Stuttering shit by an infinite margin. Their patch is bad and they should feel bad.
