Are firearms available a lot later on ? I'm thinking of playing the character who specializes with firearms but don't wanna spend 80% of the game using melee weapons.

I've got 2x 5850s running crossfire. Was getting about 45fps in the benchmark with a single gpu last night, turned on xf and was like woah, this thing runs dreamy. Then ran around causing chaos and was surprised at how silky smooth that game ran. Granted its an older game now but goes to show that when these games are done right they really dont suffer from many hitches and lag issues like the games being dumped out at the moment.

Lost nearly 15 hrs gameplay cause of update
I still have my char ( lev 22 rapper) but have to start all over again
Gutted tbh, I was really enjoying it , but havnt got the inclination to repeat the last 14 hrs before progressing

I tried , but it was broke, could not access the places that kicked off the quests for Act 2, it didnt have chapter by chapter saves either

Wow! Was just about to ask you guys for help with my graphics issues (splotchy colors) when I remembered seeing the same kind of behavior with the first ''X'' game years ago and remembering it was a ''gamma'' issue. I didn't bother to adjust the gamma when the game prompted me (though I couldn't see the DI logo either) because my desktop and all other games are fine. I just had to crank up my monitor/TV's own gamma WAY up to make this game look normal! Sucks because now everything else is abnormal (including TV shows). A real pain in the ass for just one game.
Is there a way to set gamma WAY above what the slider allows in-game? Possibly in that video.scr file? Because even with my monitor set at normal I still couldn't see the logo.
Am using the BB release on a Q6600 w/2 8800 GT's in SLI.

Just figured it out (gamma float). Man.. this game wants WAY above normal settings for me! Guess I'll just have to tweak it if I play it (looks a bit much like a L4D wannabe to me).

reloaded release and reloaded patch works allright. Game version is 1.0 and noclip is not avaible anymore
