Does anyone here have any? I'm getting my first snake tomorrow, a baby royal/ball python, I can't wait. He's a captive breed normal, about 15'' long.

Unfortunately I can only handle him for a few minutes and then I have to put him in his vivarium for a week to settle in Sad

The viv I have set up:

I still need to add some plastic plants for more hiding places and to make the viv look better.

Yup. The cage I have for the snake is actually quite big for him. They prefer small cages as it makes them feel secure.

I live in the countryside, but my cat doesn't like to go outside; she prefers the soft couch to the garden...how can I blame her Laughing

What you mean? A snake will love you intimately when it wraps itself around your neck. Laughing

Beautiful snake.

P.S. One of the ends of that log on pic #3 looks like a mix of a pig's snout and fox's muzzle from the angle you've taken it. Laughing

lol.. No mate, he will only grow to about 3.5 feet, 4 tops. Don't quote me on it but I think it's the second smallest python you can get. Males are smaller than females too.
