do you think they can sell an overpriced product of 100 euros' that won't work on he newest dashboard ? they wouldn't selll alot and the complaints of people would drive them crazy.. so yeah I am sure it works because that is the advantage of an emulator.. it emulates the dvd drive there is no way to block that. but I would wait for new freeboot for glitch to be released.

I somewhat suspected that it's "unpatchable" but not long a go,when the new Dash came out people here said it's for patching the 360key,but I didn't find any confirmation for that.

Found this.

I think it shows what the difference is with XGD2 and XGD3 are on a game disc.

Looks like the barcode or whatever it is, is closer to the edge of the disc on an XGD3?

And it looks like someone forgot to label the white arrows Laughing

Turns out Dead Island was released on both formats depending on the country its for sale in. Maybe the same thing applies to Driver San Francisco and Space Marine ...

When I XGD3 was first announced, Im pretty sure it was meant to start/trial in America. Maybe the XGD3 version of Dead Island is American and PAL is still XGD2.

Im pretty sure that rule doesnt apply to Driver but maybe Space Marine, which is released in PAL format on Friday Smile

Nah , it's just transition..everything will be xgd3 sooner or later. But it's better than nothing until proper solutions become available.. Smile

lol I used to be single, have an awesome PC for gaming and upgrade it regularly. That was about 5 years ago.

Since then Ive got a family and cant afford to keep upgrading. My half-decent video card died and now I use my PC for internet and downloading only.

Its an AMD SINGLE core 2GHz, AGP mobo, 1GB ram and 64mb onboard video lol.

It doesn't even playback video perfectly in Windows Media player because of the crap graphics adaptor!

I've given up on PC gaming and have a Xbox360 and PS3.

Well me the same actually. my pc is 4yo. 2,4c2d and 8800gt. I was upgrading regulary since Ive found a gf 3,5 year ago. Since then 360 is more than enough;)

Joking aside, same story here, with the slight exception that my pc started flipping out last weekend and it's been busted ever since. Seems I have to invest in an upgrade in the near future -- maybe I'll get to play Heroes VI after all! grinhurt

In my case, I stopped living with my brother and he got to keep the gaming pc... I got to keep what essentially amounts to a free apartment, so I guess I'm the winrar Laughing tho now I only have the 360 and my work laptop. Crying or Very sad

Hi guys, got a simple question, can't find the answer on the 360 faq.
I have an old fat 360 , haven't used it for months, last firmware flash (samsung) was when hawx2 added a new wave.
I burned games using the software to force wave 3 (i think), worked nice.

Now i want to try kinect, will i be able to use it and current games without flashing the dvd firmware?

NO!! i fucked my xbox!! getting E64 message.
During 2.0.13599.0 update.. suddenly it stoped and i get a "can't read update from the disc" message.
I tried updating from usb\disk.. nothing happened.
Then i tried liteon erase on jf.. then E64 message!
I have liteon 74850.
Plz help Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
Edit: i have my dvd key

You should have flashed to stock first Crying or Very sad

Have you tried turning off xbox, remove hdd and try again from usb update..

just something i remember reading a while back. if not try flashing your dvd firmware again and then try the update. if dvd not recognised try dos flash, i thought i'd fucked my liteon while using junglflasher, dos flash saved the day Smile

I think you need to try jungleflasher and re-flash your firmware. if you have the original firmware that is the best option, if not then just flash with 1.9 or latest fw.
If jungleflasher doesn't recognise your drive which i don't think it will, try booting to dos and use dosflash and try that.
