@sabin1981 : you will be happy to hear that the PS3 version is using NPDRM packages which are 3.50 ! So works on 3.55 obviously (you know, both games are in 2 pkg files, like demos, but on disc, silly Capcom !).
Yeah, but NPDRM hasn't - yet- been broken. So if either game requires activation then they won't be playable. If they're like the Dead Space Extraction/Dead Storm Pirates, then yay! Someone can upload the .PKG and we can leech it.
Still, that's only for JP isn't it? EU/NA releases aren't on-disk, but only available via store?

They don't need activation, they are indeed like Dead Space Extraction.
RE 4 has all languages, if you mess with the files I think you can get it fully in english... Doesn't seem like it for RE CV though, but even so, we probably can get the files when somebody bought it on EU/NA and share the pkg...
The game has english audio with forced japanese subs. The Menus and on screen text is mixed Japenese and English. It's playable if you don't know Japenese. (With some limitations)
Got around to try it out, and its like Grale says english voice with forced jap subs. So its sort of playable. But all ingame menus are in japanese. While the other menus are in english... I wont ever be able to understand these japs
