Just noticed also, that you converted god2iso and then extracted.
Different extractor programs can cause various problems too......Xbox Image Browser seems to be the one with the least. Converting it twice just adds to potential problems. Leave the game in GOD format.....FSD2 can see and play them no problem

Hiya,
Shouldn't have mattered with updating freeboot, so long as on a 'kinect' dash, though good that its uptodate now anyway.
Most important things should be
1) Latest dashlaunch. Which fixes a lot of issues You said that its been updated? That should be Dashlaunch v2.23b at the moment.
2) Since updating your freeboot, have you installed the avatar update, in order to have avatars working properly again? In the past some games refuse to run if you do not have this update, even if they seemingly don't use avatars in the game.
Are you launching the game in FSD2? If trying on an external device, try having it plugged into the front port. I sometimes have problems with games running on the back port......usually with a message along the lines of "please download this game again"

I'm using the back port and yes, the avatar update was the first thing i did when i was on the new dash. And i did install dash launch 2.23b, i tried installing again in case i did something wrong, but the installer just said i was on the newest and wouldn't do anything.

Im pretty sure im atleast 8 hours (Normal mode) in the game and im not done yet, thats a fuckin great thing. As for the game itself, nothing new, basicly the same thing as previous GoW games, so noting to write home about. Personally, i think the graphics are quite nice and the story, as the others is nice to follow.
Overall, its a great game. not like CoDs that you beat under 4 hours. So if you liked the previous 2, you will enjoy this one.

Quick review:
To put it simply it is more of the same but the graphics have been improved allot. The new enemies are cool. Coop is still fun. You can really feel the polish from the delay from last christmas to now its very fluid in play the framerate is rock solid even with shit exploding all over the place.

Whoa, nice to hear that man. Pretty sure i will get a good 12-14hrs in hardcore out of this thing. Plus 100+ in horde/beast multiplayer with friends. That's why i have pre-ordered it. The excellent beta sold me. 
More of the same + nice new enemies and bosses is the thing i wanted (when it works, don't change it, you know). 
My body is ready, but still 9 days to go. 
btw CliffyB was said Gears 3 has the longest campaign they have ever made, so probably that is true.

Guys .. correct me if im wrong .. but we can rank up offline .. playing with bots .. horde .. campaign etc.??.. so on release when we go online we keep our rank ?? right ?
what are you all doing to rank up ? horde ? wingman ?

Just finished the game....fuckin amazing. Im pretty sure it took me over 10 hours to beat.
Great story, my daughter had tears in her eyes twice in sad parts of the story.
Now lets see how many spinoff they will make out of GoW like Halo: ODST and Halo Reach.

The game is not out yet, only a handfull of people have the original so theres no way to know fo now

On another box? No, there is drm. It's possible to load dlc in JTAG only, but i guess you cannot connect that console to XBL?!
btw 6 more days 'till i receive my Steelbook Edition. ^^

You can rank up with offline Beast/horde/multiplayer but you got little XP.

I think they can detect modded save files. But why didn't play it legit? It's 1000 times more fun.

yeah i will play legit .. just want a nice headstart from my other friends .. its not a modded save its modding the ISO on my JTAG so i think i should be good ... if i wanted to reset myself back to 1 on Launch ... would i just delete the .gpd on my profile for Gears 3 .. anyone know ?

so I got my copy last night, game is pretty fucking fun. only played for a little bit, but I must say that I'm enjoying much more than I had anticipated.
Horde mode is amazingly fun!
