with the price for a burner and bd media its easier to simply get an external usb disk and copy all bd-movies on it instead.

You need to have FAT32 filesystem on the external drive, so that wouldn't be very effective, best thing to do would be to just move over BDRips onto the harddrive through the network, if the PS3 can even play BDRips...

I think he meant if I wanted to connect my external disk to the ps3 which I wont be doing like I said earlier. PS3 cant handle ntfs i think.

Ye, that's what I meant.
My TV sepparately can read ntfs file system. It only lacks mkv audio support Razz

If you hook an exernal harddrive to your PS3 you wont be able to view its contents unless it uses the FAT32 system.

honestly this is how I see it:

Regular top movies im really into - CGI strong movies - I buy

3D Blurays - I burn ... all of them ... @ 40$ a disc it makes sense ....

here and there ill burn a regular bluray - but basically a 3 pack blank bd50 cost me 26$ with s/h so around 9$ a disc ... which is the price of any bluray thats more than 3-4 months old ...

so again, I mainly burn 3dbd ... or a movie that came out and i cant wait for the regular sources hehehhe

btw downloading a bd50 from my connection takes me around 2.5 - 3 hrs so its not that much of a hassle Wink

But CGI strong movies tend to be crap like Transformers and stuff. Why would you pay for that? They should pay you for watching their poo. Cool Face
