playing this atm, sp since i didn't buy it and at least i'm playing it on the hardest difficulty and once you know how to exploit the shitty AI it's pretty easy
It's a great but bugged game, interesting mechanics and it's not your typical killstreak shit mp game like CoD and it's way more accesible than ARMA, at least for me.
It needs at least a couple of big patches to make things better, but as it is, it's a pretty darn good.

Heheh, np. Steam has come a pretty long way since it's crappy launch. You can even browse the web when in game (load times don't bother anymore). But that server browser feature is pretty damn old!

Stats do work, but only on servers that set it up properly. Unfortunately there aren't too many that do, apart from official ones.

Just tried it in SP. The gameplay is very good, I don't care about the dated-looking graphics but they have to fix the performance to go along with the graphics quality, if they do that + fix a few little bugs the game should be a winner.

Whoa! Just played couple rounds on some official UK server until the game crashed. Now I bounced from lvl 8 to lvl 21 and have all kinds of crazy stats for classes I have never even used??

^^ Yeah interiors are not bad at all from what I've seen so far. My main gripe with graphics concerns the terrain textures and vegetation. Homefront for example is an UE3 game and has a much more detailed and rich looking terrain, vegetation etc. Lighting on the other hand is a strong point in RO2.

Anyway it doesn't bother me because the gameplay is good enough to keep you from looking at the scenery.

Btw, that bfbc2 screen is from consoles you traitor Very Happy

Ofc they are raging. They had their OP privileges since the beta. Now they feel vulnerable. It's pathetic and I hope TWI doesn't listen to those fags.

I didn't even take them 5 minutes and they started crying in the forums...

TWI has to ignore this the most part or it will go down like an MMO with PvP. Every bitch is crying about unbalance and it never ends. It would ruin the game if they would listen to those bitches.

greed? a multiplatform engine has a few hurdles big deal... it's not like it's a good thing for consoles to have huge patches either

also, standalone section8 (an unreal engine game) does binary patches, but steam has no support for that yet

It's a ZF40/ZF41 scope, some sort of ancestor for nowadays ACOGs. It's not a "full" sniper scope, but you can unlock later a 4x scope, probably a ZF4.

Physics? You mean the static destruction of BC2 that doesn't involve any kind of physics at all?

Atleast RO2 has bodyparts flying around.

I don't understand why people are so butthurt about the MKb42, in the Tripwire forums. The AVT40 is more than a match for it, i'm absolutely in love with the weapon; it has such good accuracy in 3-round bursts, even at medium-long ranges. Also IMO it slightly outranges the MKb. You just have to be careful to reload more often.

I never really played the original game, and just tried this in single player. First big problem is the background ALWAYS flickering, get sickening.

I like the fact that you have to adjust your distance because bullet drops, but why not the AI? Started at hard and it's impossible. Usually in FPS the player is overpowered and the AI just look around for a few seconds before shooting, but in this case the player have to handle the realistic things while the enemy AI have wallhacks and aimbots. Within the millisecond, they hit you from a few kilometers. During this time, your teammates just empty their clips in the ground?? Crappy animations too. I don't think I necessarily hate the game just because I suck, I think the game is buggy and not fun to play. Deleting this shit.
