Hey Guys, Looking to get some quick feedback on http://www.remembertobreathe.co.uk/ .. I wacked it together yesturday and need some feedback based on layout/content/everything else. Its mainly a personal blog site with tech information and my added opinion which I know you all love ! I was going for a simple look and feel.. thoughts.. be brutal.. I can take it P.S. I know the navigation doesnt work right yet !

heheh clicked the css button and got Validator Error clicked the xhtml tag and got This page is not Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional

Yeah I know, some of the posts need updating to XHTML (its in the last blog post as a known issue that I havent fixed yet Smile

hehe) - It seems the CMS's in built "editor" tool isnt XHTML compliant, and neither is the gallery plugin, which is a pain in the ass, but I'll see what I can do. I promise, up until this morning I was valid Razz

indeed, as I said, its a knock together that Im going to clean up once I think the layout/colours/general design is sortted.

I hate white backgrounds. In my opinion it's not natural, and it hurts the eyes. Yes, yes I'm back. Somewhat.

Just tone it down a couple of notches, so it isn't so darned bright white. http://www.avault.com Has a "white" background to it's textframes without the white being too offensive. I used a gradient on my blog: http://enquilon.kyed.com/blog/ Yes, yes I'm back. Somewhat.

Fixing now, should be done by the end of the night as I now know where all the issues are (the gallery issue is also fixed, which was the only one I thought I would have trouble with.. bloody & signs!!)

Some people liked the look others dont, I find it ok but that is just about taste not about nice features. Dont like the black space on the bottom and top.
