Cant seem to get it to run just get the Razor intro loop

running F1_2011 gives me app crash looks like a stream issue

Yes Multi5. English (US), German, French, Spanish, Italian.

Thanks, I saw a couple other languages under \language and tried changing via registry but no luck. It works only with English (US), German, French, Spanish, Italian.
I eventually got it to work by renaming files...

hmm i'd say the game is better than 2010, it's harder since even on medium you really have to spend some time getting used to the track and car to be in a good position, unlike 2010 where you could even score a pole in less than 10 laps
but on rain at least the car has better grip than the previous installment and arguably same thing could be said about normal conditions but the far feels alot more responsive this time around

it does look better than 2010, good thing they dropped the shitty pallette
loading time are.. alright, just like the previous game

don't listen to some posts, play it for yourself and then decide if it's good or not

That has got fuck all to do with the game though. Welcome to racing games, where knowing the track layout is pretty darn important. What you describe here makes absolutely no sense, it can't be harder than before - you may not know some of the tracks because they weren't in last year, but that doesn't make the game harder. Learning the track is quite normal and you had to do that in 2010 just the same Neutral

Did you try disabling Vsync?It's not that bad.45secs for a full race (or even a 20% race) is worth the wait imo.

Game is running fine for me except that the gamepad controls are fucked up.
By default the car is slightly steering to the left, which makes the game hardly playable. I can fix that with recalibrating the pad in Windows config panel but then there's a bug ingame: the pilot is always looking at the rear of the car. Guess there's a problem with the right stick..

Anyone experiences that kind of issue ? Got a Saitek P380 by the way.

I've just tried the game, as expected it's basically nothing more than a refined F1 2010: there have been some welcomed improvements though, like a more challenging AI, improved huds and better atmosphere overall.

The driving model hasn't changed much, it's still very arcadey and forgiving, and somehow detecting when the car is going to spin seems to be easier (360 controller here).

The performance is ok-ish with my system (e6600@3Ghz, Ati4870), 30-35fps at medium/high details-1080p-AA2x:
