Runs pretty allright on high here. Not perfect, mind you, but completely playable.
In other news, reached Hero rank today. Pretty rad.
Edit: They just released a hotfix for performance.

At least it went from "utter shit" to "meh" again. They did a rollback actually on the so called "sound bug fix", it's not a real hotfix.
Somehow I get the feeling that my problems are related to the game's sound rather than to visual demands.

So can you play as a war hero now? I believe they stressed the fact that you could play as a hero or somesuch! What do they do?

Yup. Can play as Commander Hero and Assault Hero at the moment.

I have no idea what these current mini updates does either, last one was released yesterday night so they're still patching the game very frequently but the support they show is nice.
(Then again I haven't had many issues with the game but I've also not played very extensively online.)

Ive played the game yesterday and i can't get over its flaws.
I like me some hardcore games but this is just clunky,unresponssive and bugged like shit especially the AI.
Moreover it reeks of poor optimizations for the crap gfx it produces.
Dissapointed.
Edit: Why the hell do PC exclusives share the same problems ? Like crap performance and weird graphics,just like the Witcher 2.

Witcher 2 works like shit on my machine,even tough fraps is telling me i get 40+ frames the constant skipping,animation jankiness and some weirds shadows and lighting makes it a poor visual experience.
I admit the artists are godlike for the Witcher 2 tough

I think it's just you and the like. I love the graphics in RO2, definitely looks better than games like BC2. More detailed, especially interiors. Also ability to turn off the "nextgen" gfx effects is very welcome.
Also this is a multiplayer game, so complaining about AI is irrelevant. It's not very bugged for me, notable bugs or complains I have encountered in ~30hrs of play time:
- MOUSE1 sometimes don't respond when you want to fire a weapon.
- Inability to stop reload animation, making you very vulnerable while reloading, you can't melee or switch to sidearm
- Occasionally a sound drops until you restart the game (probably fixed in one of the recent patch)
- Ranking system was acting weird, but it seems fixed now
And that's about all issues I encountered. I can't say anything against optimization, I'm running everything on max at 1080p with disabled bloom and sun shafts at average 50FPS on i5 2500K, HD6870 with 8GB RAM.
