Uhm, it's been corrected by DICE. You only need 1x 580 to max it, sli was for stuff like 3d + super high res.

Either way , how can you call this game not demanding? It's the best looking game since crysis.

Oh thats more like it, i said already while ago that it was probably for 3D enabled etc.. It would be ludicrous requirements just for the ultra without 3D (with 3D it would be then tri/quad sli Very Happy).

Where this was confirmed?

and after its also a matter of , for example, how much AA/AF you use, in my experience 4x is more than enough, online i probably go 2x, should give quite a boost in fps compared to 8x/16x

Shadows is also a fps downer, hope i can turn them to low/off Smile

yeah, but can you really see difference from 16x/32x AA to 8xx while playing online against other people ? doubtful Smile

Not gonna happen with 570.


Im pretty sure it will run on 570 sli.

Well AA is different i always use 4xAA or FXAA. Cant see any difference below 4x.

I'm pretty sure DICE's PR guy is full of shit and just trying to sell a ton of cards for nVidia. If you have 560Ti + you'll run the game just fine. Ultra is probably some bullshit setting that takes away 60% FPS but gives like 10% improvement.

IIRC Bf3 will use SRAA , so I guess that AA will only be On or Off ( and the performance impact should be close to 0 anyway...).

just check my thread for my 560 ti in hardware section, if i can play crysis 2, fear 3 etc etc in highest/ultra maxed with 60+ fps, then im pretty sure bf3 will be the same lol.


agreed on the selling cards parts for nvidia lol.

Or ultra is like Witcher 2 "Uber sampling", which only adds some brutal AF/AA to the screen (also takes over half of fps away). Cool Face

My OC'ed 560 GTX TI will run this shit on Ultra I guess,with NO AA and @ 1680x1050 .. I dont have a full HD Screen so.. I guess that'll do the trick Razz.

560 TI doesnt run Crysis 2 on Extreme (dx11/texture pack) with 60fps+. Unless your are playing on 1280x1024.

I'm sure everyone with a recent single gpu card will run the game on High without much trouble. Now for Ultra, I assume there will be some single options (like the HBAO bitch back when BC2 was released) that will cut fps in half and will require those SLI setups.

It does run on Extreme with Dx11 and High Res textures with 60fps f or me.. Playing @ 1680x1050.
