http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1527186/

Director: Lars von Trier
Writer: Lars von Trier
Release Date:11 November 2011
Genre: Drama | Sci-Fi

Plot:
Two sisters find their already strained relationship challenged as a mysterious new planet threatens to collide into the Earth.

Trailer:

Looks definitely interesting imo. Lars Von Tier isn't a director who makes blockbuster movies, rather art ones (and he's quite good at it imo).
Those who think that this is another 'pretentious piece of shit' (you know who you are!) can gtfo and go watch transformers Very Happy

Better than Antichrist (not sure if it's physically possible to create anything worse than that though), full of symbolism and allusions, and the visuals/audio presentation great. The acting is generally good, exept for Dunst herself who seemed to be exaggerating (though could have been director's vison).

With all that said it's still full of pretentuous bullshit, ambiguity for the sake of ambiguity and some typical (since he started eating mushrooms for breakfast) Von Trier facepalm moments. At least there is no talking fox this time around.

It's good, actually. There's a blurred-out transparent on top of screen hiding an inscription but it's easy to ignore, and it won't poke your eyes at all during the movie. Both the video and audio quality are decent. Think of a regional DVD with a better sound quality (cause they're usually with a TS audio source).

Watched halfway though this piece of shit. My fucking god how boring can a movie get? I will continue watching in hopes of something actually happening in this film when the planet arrives.

It's only the second part worth watching. For anyone who enjoyed the first part i would call a fucking woman. And the main characters are so god damn annoying i wanted to punch those girls in the face.

From the comments looks like it's another marmite movie that you either love it or hate it (just like The Tree of Life ).

I usually enjoy this kind of slow paced depressive movies, but I think that I will wait for the HD version, since it relies much on atmosphere and sophisticated visuals.
