It's a collaboration, as far as I know. c4eva does the bulk of the actual reversing/hacking, with Team Jungle picking up the software and hardware side of things.

I'd love a jtag, can't justify the purchase at the moment tho..
Daughter in big school and all the costs that incurs.....

Arita you have to burn at 1x for the sencond layer so kick in really wierd i stopped using them after that |
if you have an benq burner you can burn them at 8x doing this with Arita for a long time and never had an problem.. but the arita's are nowhere for sale anymore now. using verbatium's is indeed a waste of money...

I have lite-on burner and emtec or esperanza works like charm. I am installing every game to hdd so all I care about is hoping the disc will be readable for 10minutes

... and for the LAST time, since this will be the fourth time I've said it now, c4eva's work is fantastic and I have never - and will never - disparage it. I'm USING his work, for crying out loud. My drive is modded right now with LT1.1 and I couldn't be happier. I don't even HAVE a JTAG system yet... but I know enough not to be a closed-minded fool and run my mouth about how "crap" it is. There is more than enough room in this scene for all methods.
iXtreme is for people who just want to burn a game and play, including XBL access.
JTAG is for people who want total control over the system, as well as far more functionality than offered by the FW hack.
... oh and your nonsense about "JTAG is for people who can't flash their own shit" is just honestly one of the dumbest fucking things I've read on this forum in a long, long time. It takes FAR more skill and knowledge to perform you own JTAG write on the machine than it does to hook the DVD drive to a PC and run JungleFlasher  Now, of course, there are installers out there that can do it for you... but then, those same installers also flash DVD drives too, so yeah

Well. I have quick question. I'm a total noob when it comes to flashing but I flashed my xbox360...
What is this dvd key you all keep talking about? Will I be able to flash with newest firmware when it comes out? I havnt played xbox for 3 months now..if i update dashboard would i lose the modded firmware, reverting to stock? I'm probably still rocking hitachi firmware version from 2 years ago -,- |

i always do it without unlock tool. just open the one side with the clips. lift up the top part of the case, put your arm on the metal case and give a huge swing to the attached side and it's open in no time without any damages to the case.
fuck these retarded unlock tools |
