I agree that it's BC3, but I don't think anything's wrong with that, I loved BC2.
I have a pretty high-end rig (i5@2.66, 460 1GB) and it runs 50-60 fps on high. Looks very nice too.
The netcode is pretty good as well, haven't encountered any problems, but then again it might be region based or something.
Haven't had any problems with hitboxes and hit register either.
To each his own I guess, at least BF3 uses new models and weapons instead of reusing everything in MW3.

Man the game absolutelly a blast to play lol.The feeling you get when your cornered in the tunels and rockets start wizzing by ,oh man oh fuck,AHMAZING!
But there are bugs and glitches,like falling into insta craters that apear out of nowehere and cant get out.Weirdo raggdol effects and animations,its beta after all and those things get fixed,but the game at its core is marvelous!

I can't imagine how horrible of a experience sabin has got from this beta to have a completely opposed opinion to mine : D (but of course even if I don't understand his opinion i respect it) For me this game is clearly superior to Bad Company 2 and it clearly fixes and improves on many of the features of that game, the only similarities are graphical and still that's an aspect where this game clearly beats BC2.
Shooting has to be one of the best things going on in this game apart from sound. It's more similar to what we had in BF2142 which had improved on many problems that BF2 had (notably bullet deviation). Of course it can be still tweaked a little damege and recoil wise but hit register is just perfect now. If you're the better aimer and better shooter you will win at least 95% of times.
There's still lots to see and test but so far I'm really loving this game.

My 6-core Phenom II + GTX 460 = 40+ fps on Ultra @ 720p. I couldn't be more happy performance-wise since the random console port will occasionally perform like that or worse when you enable SSAO or something.
But the absence of any interaction with water, foliage and other things have left me a bit disappointed..

I have to agree that you definitely can't get a good experience with this game on a dual core processor. This game was made to get the shit out of hardware and that's exactly what it does, but even so, I think it's pretty optimized.
