None... WoW has no dept and the game can be done in around 1month there is no real resistance in the game, other than PVP but thats not enough in the long run. EQ2 is run by SOE, and they utterly suck at administrating a game, take SWG they really fucked that up with their latest inventions. In EQ2 they made the tissue nerf, and that ruined the game for crafters. Im going for Guildwars when released in EU, until then i have my FM2005 and Matrix Online!

I'll start playing WoW this week, hope i'll like it Some friends are completely addicted to it, but they used to be addicted to Ultima Online too.. I never played a MMORPG before

you will like it.. it's a game for everyone, not just mmorpg players, and the interface & addons are so well made you will know every button by heart after 5minutes.
i've "turned" a few friends that were hardly interested in pc into liking & buying this game, so anyone wanting to play a good game (with all the crap that comes out these days) will definately be hooked.

my only regret is the recent implementation of the honor system, made things a lot more chaotic & somewhat less enjoyable (i dont care wether its a war or not, i dont wanna watch my back 24/7 for rogues & other stealth chars), but thats probably just me.

IM FREE! i just broke free of this world of warcraft ( canceled account), ahh man so much time wasted! It was fun while it lasted, got to the point where this game sucks! had a 60 paladin, 60 warlock, 60 hunter and 60 rogue. god damn i didnt know that mmorpgs are like crack.....man so much time wasted! I would have 2 agree on the fact about mmorpgs,ive just got guild wars,and ive never played a game like it!!i cant get enough,ive always played FPS,but havent touched one in weeks!

A friend tried to get me to get mmorpg, hell no. I played the WOW EU open beta and there is no way I am going to touch a nother MMORPG as long it does not have a short limited testing period

EQ2 is a fantastic game. All the npc's have voice acting. The graphics are amazing. The game is a much deeper game than WOW which seems to appeal to the masses. The downside to EQ2 is the customer services. SOE provide a shocking lack od customer care.

i played eq2 for around 8months and have a 49sk and a 46 coercer on steamfont. ive played wow for around 2 weeks and have a 32 warlock on twilights hammer. eq2 has more content? are you joking? eq2's world is tiny and boring compared to WOW's world which is fun to explore has a large variety of mobs not just the same mobs with different names in the higher level zones. wow is actually fun post 30 eq2 is just one big grind to 50 where all you do is raid and hope they balance the classes or add something new. the devs are still acting like retarded step sisters constantly balancing every raid mob in the game and making them harder because people are killing darathar getting there prismatics and then quitting because there is no end game content what so ever. sure if you didnt play eq2 and looked at the patch notes you would think they were adding tons of content but in reality there adding crappy postbox fight dungeons and stupid changes to fix things they broke a few patchs ago.. i hate to say it but behind wow's graphics lies a very advanced mmorpg not some simplified noob grind with good graphics and little content so little they are trying to cram as much crap in with each patch to keep people busy for another couple of minutes lol there even going to make fights in eq2 last longer turning the game into more of a grind than it is now.. i last logged onto my eq2 acount 6 days ago and just gave any one below 20 i could find a platnium btw anyone who thinks eq2 is more complex than wow behind the graphics obviously has never played both games ,behind eq2's gorgeous graphics and dazzling voice acting (sometimes) lies a pretty basic mmorpg and nothing special which is one of the reasons alot of people who played eq1 didnt like eq2. where as wow is pretty much the oposite not so great graphics but there decent enough with a pretty complex engine underneath. btw if you dont believe i ever played eq2 here is my character http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=290308208 click on the alts tab and you will see i also had a 49sk which was the first character i made. if you still dont believe me i can login later when they have finished patching and edit my bio to say snop1050 of nforce.

Gotta say you are pretty wrong. I played eq2 for 4months (quit couse of school) and it was a great game with alot more then WoW has to offer (WoW btw i got bored of after a week). Sure WoW is big, is that all you want then go ahead. I can run like hell i WoW without finding any guy around, groups are hard to get couse the size etc where eq2 is perfect.
EQ2 is fun all the way to 50 and even at 50, WoW is kinda fun to 60 but when your there the game dies (know alot of people has quit couse there is nothing to do).
The devs i can agree on, SOE suck pretty much.
And i think (know) that eq2 is more complex then wow behind the grafix and ive played both longer then you (well atleast WoW longer).

WoW is nothing new at all, not even fun. Its becouse it says Warcraft and Blizzard that it sells so much.

I played both. WoW is just so much more hardcore (just like other brilliant blizzard's games) than EQ2. PvP and huge 40 person dungeon raids in WoW are just amazing. BTW, if WoW is more newbie friendly than EQ2 doesnt mean it's less complex. You have no idea how complex and hardcore WoW is at the end game. EQ2 gfx are NOT better than WoW. Well yes, EQ2 has some pixel shaders here and there, some complex shadows, some shiny water. But outside capital cities most of the zones looks dull and poor. Since I played like 90% of p2p and free MMORPGs ever released, I can easily say WoW is the best MMORPG so far. Rubbish! Not one mmorpg has ever gotten near UO in any way shape or form. That game was perfect until it was sold. Now it's a disgrace. They even canceled UO 2 so they could milk UO dry. It's got ninja's in. Hell you can even get swords that look like light sabres.
