After ~1000 hours of bc2 and months of waiting for bf3 gotta say im very dissapointed.
First, the weapon damage is too friking high. It may be ok in cod where all you need to do it shoot to kill but not in this game.
It eliminates the need to
-spot - there's no point in spoting anymore and losing x miliseconds to spot when you can kill the enemy so easily. In BC2 you had to spot because the enemy actually had enough HP to hide, recover and maybe out-gun you, but here? There's no out-guning in this game. Whoever sees the enemy first wins. BAAADD
-have some aiming skill/recoil knowledge - by the time recoil kicks in the target is long dead.
-rely on cheap kills like Gustavs or other explosives (wich sucked in bc2 but at least one had a reason to use them)
And it also ruins the gameplay. You dont (usually) survive long enough to need ammo or even heals from your team mates. You just need to get resuscitated now.
And second, the prone ! Everyone and their moms are camping proned, coupled with high weapon damage you get pro campers.

gotta love how you can't even access the game menu when you're dead.. you can't even ragequit without alt-tabbing out of it.

i really don't know how to feel about this.. the performance is usually great on ultra, but sometimes it just becomes a fucking lagfest and everything becomes choppy as shit. weapons disappear, you can fall through the ground and are unable to move, weird screen flashes etc..

i know it's a beta, but jesus, it feels like it hasn't even left alpha yet Sad

Oh right, i didnt even complained about that, it totally destroys my 8800gt=D. Yesterday i was torn between buying a new video card or getting the game for the ps3. But now, after playing both versions i definitely wont get a gpu anymore.. this game does not deserve it

I think the subway is kind of fun. The starting area blows though, everyone just hides in the plants.

I agree the lack of features in the interface atm is very annoying. But most of those features are supposed to be present at launch date. Let's hope they're functional.

Use flanking when attacking, works wonder most of the times. I've got a bunch of dogtags doing it.

Wow any doubts I had after the alpha have just been ERADICATED.

That was awesome, even though it was the same map, its so much more smoother and Im not crashing every 2 mins.

Sound is absolutely stunning, like so amazing I cant even describe it.

Yeah theres a few too many particle effects and you really have to turn Motion blur off, but man that was fucking AMAZING!
literallt the closet thing you can get without being on a real battlefield.

Managed to play in in 1680x1050 with all set to ultra at a steady 40 fps .

Altough sometimes the HDD would just die on me and cause some ugly lag.


Did you guys notice that the new beta nvidia driver is causing some green flashes on the screen from time to time ?

Finally got to try it and I like it. I absolutely love what some others here hate; that bullets do a lot of damage. Gunning and running has been the reason I've hated these "military shooters" since they ruined the Rainbow Six series. I wish weapons were a bit less accurate though. Every weapon should've had the Rainbow Six accuracy system where you would spray everywhere if you ran. When you stopped it took between 1 and 2 seconds to settle the sights - like it does in real life. All in all I like it, but I can tell I have to upgrade my rig now. Playing on medium and 1680x1050 is a defeat.

4 hours in, atrocious.

People are still bullet sponges, cover doesn't stop me from being hit by the enemy, people are shooting me through objects which can't be shot through, people shooting the floor in one area of the map and hitting you in another, invisible players that are only somewhat visible if they have flashlights or lasers.

What the fuck man?

Can I please fall on a server that isn't full of suspicious shit, and has players that don't play like assholes? |:

Heli sucks
Browser,,Menu system sucks
KeyPadding sucks(This is normal.. lols)

At the Beta testers forum some one wrote a nice post about snipers:D
Its like their scope is a flashlight. This does not happen with modern day equipment.
Not even in WW2.
