My buddy wants to buy his brother a prebuilt system so he can play BF3, have any of you ever bought a prebuilt system and if so, was it a good experience? Heres what Im looking at right now... He just doesnt have the time to put one together himself, and money isnt really an object for him right now. sooo... any thoughts? Thanks.
something i observed and i hope they change. Damage from single bolt rifles like the sv98 seems considerably lower than the semi automatic (svd and us counterpart) which can fire repeatedly without going out of zoom. The SV98 will only kill when it hits the head, the svd and other one will kill more or less with 1 hit when hitting head or torso (and when not, simply pull trigger twice lol) while sv98 you need to reload every shot and rezoom and reaim, making it hard to kill something.

Hey guys i have a question, i noticed when i watched a xbox360 bf3 video, that when they have their enemy in sight, that you can mark him with back button on xbox controller and then your teammates can see him on mini map..can you do this on pc?..and if so, wich button?
Got in, played, got knifed, got brought back to life, left and right mouse buttons didn't activate (couldn't fire or zoom), quit.
Yes, I know it's a beta, but that's a fairly major flaw, surely?
just changing to pistol doesnt fix either? rage quitter (jk)

Had the same thing. Seems some things glitched out and didn't refresh properly after the update. If you check the server Pumpy is supposedly playing on, for example, you'll see that it in fact shows up as empty
At first I didn't like the game that much..but after playing it more it's definitely fun. Yeah there are bugs but who cares it's free fun for awhile , when that msg appears that u can't join bla bla , just keep trying and eventually you will get in.
is it just me or does it not seem to matter what settings the game is on, you still get the same FPS weather you have it on ultra or on low?
I get about a 5-6 fps difference at most. But it's still around 40 fps in battle which is unacceptable.
Yeah, for me it's around 40 as well during battle and around 80 in tight spaces. o.O
However it still feels smooth unlike other FPS games which I play where it drops below 90 and I panic.
I tried setting everything to low but I still got around 45-50...which is fucking pointless and I'd rather have everything on ultra and drop 5-10 FPS.
