I don't think its from Steam. The files don't look encrypted. I looked at headers and *.bik files have standard header, text files are plain ascii and other files don't have the usual steam file header.

without the binaries, there is no need to encrypt anything no ? The games i have in steam are all looking like standalone games (dirs etc inside) , so that doesnt mean much.

I watched the video posted earlier, why does the game look like a sequel to Borderlands?
It is cell shaded isn't it? Between this, Borderlands and The Darkness 2 I'm beginning to think cell shading is the latest "next gen" look for games.

Well, I don't know about a source, but having seen lots of console gameplay footage I tend to believe it's not cel-shaded.
