Could I have been IP banned?
I cant access my account, the website or the forums. The client does not connect at all, and the web page just times-out.
I have connected via my neighbours internet and everything is fine.
HALP!

my neighbour is on the same isp as me, and i havent got an email :/
just bought my first steam game too... shit
i tried rebooting my router, dont wanna reboot the modem as i dont want a different IP

Running Peerblock? That blocks Steam by default.
Check your firewall?
Open up a cmd window and type tracert store.steampowered.com, maybe?

I have another problem with steam. I can not connect anymore. This morning I was able to login but it dropped the connection ALL the time. Then I tried to change my password, didnt work either and now it says that it doesn't find my account! But I can still try to reset the PW and get emails... WTF is happening?!
Could some of my mates please check if my user is online in the friendslist?

I had similar problem when i enabled the steam protection first time. It wouldnt login anymore, sayd that account does not exist and i could not reset passwords, just gave me errors. I contacted the valve and they reset my information(password, secret question). Took like a day or so.
