My other GTX 460 died earlier today (just in time for a major release, yep, that's my life/luck in a nutshell). Anyway, I've been running Rage on a single GTX 460 on the BF3 Beta drivers. Smooth as silk (fps has never dipped below 60), and extremely minimal texture pop-in just on the peripheral. Other than quite a bit of screen tearing, the game is running like a dream.
Green rules, red drools! 
That said, I see this game as I saw Crysis - it's a tech demo more than it is a decent game. Fun in short bursts though.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I've put the rageconfig.cfg, and now my game won't load lol ?
Am i doing anything wrong ?
Also i have another question should i force Vsync ON from the NVIDIA Control Panel ?

Seems game is running perfectly fine now on my unlocked 6950 2GB. Never dipped below the steady 60, not bothered by the minimal texture pop-in I've seen (it's basically only seen by doing a 180 outdoors, and even then it's just for 2ms, the blink of an eye).
Using the OGL-dll from Rage driver that I expanded and put into the Rage folder. That OGL-dll is a must, the .dll from 11.9 or 11.10 preview have a very noticeable performance drop.
Tried JBeckmans cfg but it introduced minor millisecond stutter every 5 seconds or so.

my rage sttings wont work.
i follow the instruction and i cant open console and my intro videos are working....
i try the JBeckman settings....
help

ah never mind. now its working....but little fps drops are here and there

how can i enable anti aliasing except from the main menu.When i try doing it from there the game crashes, anywas i forced v-sync through nvidia control panel and its working great but the AA doesn't.Is there Any other way ?

Game runs perfectly for me, a slight bit of peripheral texture pop-in and that horizontal screen tear is aggravating as all hell.. but it's a damned fun game, just as I knew it would be. As for the graphics? Yeah, they're not the best.. though sometimes they look fantastic, depending on the scene. I think MegaTexture is a huge fucking fail, that's for damned sure.

No, not really. I didn't say the game was "excellent" at all, so keep your butthurt BF3 fanboyism to yourself, ok? I don't like BF3 (which, by the way, runs 60fps on Ultra settings. DWI) because I don't like BC2.. and BF3 feels exactly like it. Rage is "fun" and that's about it, something to pass a few hours and then forget about.

f**k it, I finaly bought Rage + Anarchy Edition Pack this afternoon ( includes sewers bonus misison + some weapons and the crimson elite armor ) for 40 US$ in the store near my living place. I know, I shouldn't, but anyway when I saw it on shelves, just can't help and then took it.
I think I will stick to 2D mode, but will try the stereo mode tomorrow, after having installed the game tonight.

Yea JB, that was last night when i asked (3 pages back  )
Anyway how come that my drivers aint updating and still showing the old opengl version in the CCC :s
After reading some, that microstuttering was then because of your config i presume. Prolly cuz most of us have a 1gb gpu, so thats causing some stuttering/freezes

Skidrow's release contains both the Anarchy items and the Sewer missions.

Asoon as i fire up my F9 (to record) my fps drops to 15...
