at least now i know why they called the game rage....
if i play the game with the "fix" for the texture pop in it keeps crashing@almost every loading screen
if i play it without the fix....well those textures......
those ati hotfix drivers didnt change a thing for me......
Completely uninstally drivers, and do a fresh install of 11.9
(Uninstall drivers, restart computer, reinstall 11.9, restart, try rage. This is important as it was the last this i tried before getting a playable exprience.)

Perhaps some of these steps arn't needed, perhaps it won't solve the issue for others, either way, it worked for me so it's worth a try if you're out of ideas
Edit: i wasn't impressed at all with the game itself, had expected much better. Can only hope Skyrim won't turn out the same.

Got all console commands working via info from other posts and disucssions, despite what I thought CvarAdd does indeed overwrite anything.
However it takes the default into consideration so cvaradd value -1 is one less than current and cvaradd value 1 is one more than current.
I can now finally get some proper info on the other console commands.
(vehicle_infiniteboost 1, haha.)
EDIT: It does not work via config file either (Or rather it does not auto execute.) so having them in a separate config and using the exec command when fully in-game is optimal.

Well there's a ton of commands but I wonder if there's much else that can be done, still it's worth testing out.
(It mostly comes down to debug commands or more advanced system commands via different categories from pm to the playermodel to vehicle for vehicles and ai for AI plus the standard s_ for sound, g_ for game and sys, fc and fm - and vt - for system settings with r_ for render settings along with image_.)

It shows you what you earned at the BOTTOM of the screen. Money usually, but sometimes crafting ingredients too.
yes but game runs perfectly just happens right after the loading screen in phases in the game appears right before a mission starts
Same thing here. Restarting game and continue fixes that. It seems to crash only when you're going to an area you haven't been in before during the session. After you've been there you can move between areas as much as you want without crashing.
what's with the guy who rescued me, he promised some new armor, did the job, where's the fuckin armor?? stats still say i got that starter ark armor...
my issue with RAGE is, its freaking Boringlands 1.5 just less fun. Come one :

Drive around in a buggy with miniguns : same and same
Killing a lot of crazy bandits and mutants : same and same
except you dont loot lots of random weapons, you dont have any skills/level up.

Cuz we REALLY liked being proposed new weapons every inch of the game.
i did, but that aside , i did call it "Boringland" , that should give an idea of what i think of "Borderlands" (SP anyway).
Anyway, got recipe for "Pop Shots" , Half Shotgun shell, half Grenade ... yeah, GG, Game over, I Win lol. (They kill everything in 1 hit, bosses take a couple more, like 6 or so lol) ... and you can make them with storebought ingredients ...
It's likely a quest progress bug, alternatively save issue, had the same with the first sewer system (Outside the ark chamber.) since I had already accessed the sewers near the Outrunners so the game keeps crashing whenever I try to enter this area.
(Load a older save from when before you entered the studio and it should work.)
Game runs perfectly well for me. It's actually not such a bad game, but I have a weird NPC flickering bug so I'll wait for some patches.

ati of nvidea?i use the bf3 drivrs now and that are the best drivers for me to play the game the drivers before bf3beta drivers give me alot of glitches and flikering apc as wel
