@sausje - thanks but the error first appears when installing DVD 2 - I tried skipping and it also happen with disk 3 with one texture

@Nui - Hmmmm.... A bit tongue in cheek.

DL approx 10 GB (DVD 2 & 3) is the only option? No one else had this error? Surely if the file was corrupt it would not have unrared?

Because it's not, sadly. It's a very, very easy game and I've only died twice so far ...... due to falling in a canyon whilst attempting a Drone jump. The actual enemies? Not challenging at all and I wish I'd put it on Nightmare/whatever right from the start.

My biggest disappointment is definitely the invisible walls. The game has such scope and potential, but it's hindered by linearity and a distinct lack of exploration.

Did you download SKIDROW release? Have you run the *.sfv file before unpacking?

1 hour to finish downloading Skidrow release:). Guys i have a question, maybe noob question but please answer me if you could. If i have 270 WHQL drivers so i will be able to TURN ON transcoding? Or i must install first this shitty BF3 beta drivers?


pc is: I5 2,66 , Gtx 580

Gulp. Queasy feeling in pit of stomach.

Yes, DL the SKIDROW release but did not run the *.sfv file. To be honest, I have never run such a file before unpacking countless PC games.
Shot myself in the foot. Guess there is no way to patch the image?

Oi oi, AMD served me fine for the last 6 years, nvidia on the other hand....

6600GT -> all cards i got had artifacts (traded it back in for a new one 4 times)
260GTX BE -> no 60hertz on 1080p (only 59), No sound thru HDMI, system lag while playing 1080p vids
470GTX -> overheat to 110 degrees

All those got traded in for ATI cards, wich i never had to look back to and worked flawless...

the game runs perfectly fluid for me most of the time, but very often it just freezes for like 1 second for no reason. I suppose this is a bug caused by the shitty programming. Does anyone have a fix for this? Because it is really driving me nuts. (i have a gtx 470, 8 GB Ram and i7 860). Unfortunately i can`t get V-Sync to work either, even though i forced it in nvidia control panel AND in the cfg. The tearing also hurts my eyes pretty badly.I already did several tweaks to the config to get rid of the texture reloading/textures popping up.

Wow that was lame...Just blew up "Shrouded bunker" (it exploded the fuck up) and 2 missions later, I have to go back and get some schematics from the blown up place. When I return all is good and well, must have forgot that it just blew up Sad Thats just lazy...

After upgrading to newest driver, my game is better, but now I crash to desktop every other time I enter I new place...

guess this has been answered before but i can't find it.

i'm on a DE keyboard layout (QWERTZ) and i cannot access the developer console.
i know it's the key left of 1 under ESC usually and it always worked before (eg doom3 and quake4).
tried every button and have '+set com_allow console' in launch options.
what am i doing wrong?

The option won't even be there with such old drivers. BTW why not update to newer ones?
