Jesus christ what kind of a dumbass would be trying to apply a patch to a cracked exe? I think we don't need 3 pages of posts just to confirm that this patch only applies to US version not to EU version that was released by Reloaded.

This has nothing to do with cracked exe, now that we got this out of the system lets move on. Reloaded and CLONECD are both identical EURO versions of the game. How do I know? Both releases after installation consist of same exact files. The US patch of course will modify everything and patch except for exe because it seems USA version binary will be different than EURO, now the question is what will be the differences in USA version, more violence? who knows. Case in point is, there is no EU patch even though Atari already got US patch cooked up, which is strange and dissapointing.

get real, every single game that exists have different .exe files if they are euro or usa versions, yet they remain the exact same game EXCEPT for some additional languages, and/or euro letter support.
There wont be "more violence" in the .exe, you think they hardcoded some dismemberment into the US version .exe? allow me to laugh

I think some guys need to seriously tweak their PC.
The game runs fine here at 1600x1200, 2xAA and medium to high grafiks settings.
And I only have a AMD 2600xp, 1gig ram, radeon9700 pro.
Dont focus on the bugs, enjoy the game!

i started with going against the governm,ent ( got to -100) but then game becomes very difficult. so i paid 12000 pesos to the guy in the bar to restore my rep w/ government and now i am carrying out missions against the guerrilas and mafia, but my rep with them is really high anyway so a few kills here and there won't hurt.
it's nice to roam the countrytside not having a bounty on ur head

oh by the way.. the graphics are FAR better with bloom on.. FAR FAR FAR better.. and does not hurt preformance

1. disable any af/aa
2. disable music
3. reduce grass distanced to 30 - 40%
4. in the game.ini set LowQualityAnimation=1
5. set charater lod to 30%
6. set all other settings to max
if still having problems use vertex lighting

bullshit goot, i know you just wanna help, but thats bullshit. If he/she gets that much lag on very low settings on that system something is wrong, doesnt matter what you lower, something is wrong.
Look at my system, i run the game with everything on max except grass dist and density and the lod radiuses at 50%. And no, i dont use no stinkin' vertex lighting. And of course the mipmap thingy is to the far left, no use for it.
Also in windows i have high preformance set, the degradation in texture quality is not really noticeable, perhaps there is a bug in the game/grass/vegetation that causes huge fps drops if you have the thing in windows set to quality? After all the vegetation IS just that, textures overlapping eachother.. Worth a try for you guys.
Looks amazing, 4x AA, 8x AF, plays great, about 40fps average, and dont set the update range to anything less than 1000m, because it is better to run around in a 1km square and THEN have to load for 2-3 seconds, than running around and having stutters every 200 meters. At least thats my opinion.

This game is MASSIVE.. for the first maybe 5 hours u might think its tiny.. but it gets bigger and bigger.. more intense and better..

oh and before it was like 2am.. i was driving towards the bandit base... pitch black.,. could not see shit.... was on the little dirt track.. i turn on my headlights for a second.. oh fuck they see me.. they start to fire at me... they ambushed me.. they blow up a tree on the road to block my way.. they call a chopper overhead to fuck me up.. i ditch the car.. hide in the bushes.. almost dead.. but they cant see me.. im prone and lying in the bushes.. i think im safe.. then i hear a rattle.. turn around.. a snake bites me and i die.. lol
