Honestly, how can you NOT find them? Neutral They're listed on three different tabs Laughing

Press C.
Use arrows at the top of the "cash shop" to change categories.
Find Act 3* + Tokyo tickets under ENHANCEMENT tab.
???
Profit!

Oh and it's $6, remember? $4 for Act 3*, $2 for Tokyo.

*Act 3 contains Acts 3, 4 and 5.. as well as access to Stonehenge, Final Attack and various Boss Arenas, they just call it "Act 3" for short.

Well I've played it now for about eight hours and surprisingly I'm enjoying it quite a bit so far. Level six right now. The installer sucks - it didn't even create icons/shortcuts for me. Then the game defaulted to the lowest resolution textures. But those were easily fixed. The game downloader sucks too. If you abort it starts all over again, so I used utorrent.

Sabin or anyone else where can I get Act3+Stonehenge+FinalAttack+tokyo? $5 sounds like a great buy. I press C in-game and all i see are basic upgrades or whatever... I'll search some more also.

Well okay I had my first <1 fps slowdown (in combat!) and that really sucked lol. I'm liking the game a lot otherwise though.

Thank you very much. Didn't know Act3 contained the others too (except Tokyo of course). Yeah $6 is fine. So it's just Act3+Tokyo to buy. Cool.

Yup, you just need the two tickets to access all the content. Act 3 is the most important one though, without it you've basically got a VERY limited demo of the full game. Acts 1 and 2 won't take long to progress through at all, and without Act 3 you can't go further than Waterloo. Want to know how bad that is?

Yeah.

Good to know! I think what urged me to give it a try was reading your enthusiasm for the the game. Glad I listened. I love the Roguelike RPG's and games that are inspired by them and this does feel like a graphical RL, especially how I need to 'identify' items lol. I like the sub-game of optimizing inventory. Makes me feel like I'm building something.

With about five or six hours of gametime I had done maybe half of act 1. ha. Any ideas on how to fix the slow fps bug? I've searched to no avail so far.

I bought 5k credits. Only lets me buy in 5k or 10k increments so I can't buy Tokyo for now I guess. No problem. Thanks again Sabin.

Well I love the game, I loved it since the day it first launched back when Flagship was in control. It really is just a visual overhaul to Diablo and really does have that graphical RL feel. It's not going to win any awards for story (though at least it tries to have one) but hell if it's not a lootporn lover's game Very Happy Sadly I don't have any solutions for the strange fps glitch... I keep hoping T3 will fix it Sad

The Hellgate video options for 1920x1200 is a bit strange. instead of 16:10, it lists 32:20. wtf!! (joke)

Great! I can't buy any tcoins. When I try to log on to the webpage it just spams a lot of dots in password field and does nothing Sad

EDIT: I have read some of the Technical Issues forum and it seems that they're just cashing in on the game and don't give a shit about bugs. Their only answer is that "You should report it by mail inquiry and they will look into it". Sad
Edit2: Login seems to work from another machine. Scratch Head

Glad it's working for you. I had no problems here at all today with my first purchase of tcoins. Worked and was immediately available in-game.

The server is rather lagged though. I -might- have fixed the fps lag bug with the custom ati-hotfix.dll file but I haven't been outdoors since installing it, only underground.

edit: more specifically, my ping goes from a steady 30ms to 9000 sometimes. I don't know if it's T3's server being overloaded or something else.

I'd the same issue yesterday. But I thought that was due to downloading stuff in the background.

I think so. I installed an ati-hotfix dll file and ever since I've not had a single lockup. But I've not gone outside yet where it seems to mostly happen. It's in their forums. sorry lost the exact link.

The lag is happening for me today too. You still getting it? Not the FPS lag, but general gameplay lag, which isn't so bothersome but..

for the fps, i think i found the issue, its probably related to triple buffering. Unchecked it (tried around a lot) and now its gone ... for now ...

Tripple buffering allocates more VRAM but in turn helps when VSync is enabled so you don't get those framerate drops (120 -> 60 -> 30 -> 15 that sort of thing.) maybe with the poor memory control the game has and possible memory leaks it was a bit much for the GPU?
(Well actually the game engine more so than the GPU.)

well, the game engine sure has its issue. I disabled vsync and the fps is VERY unstable. Alltho its always above 100 (considering todays gpu's, no wonder) but it has fluctuations of 100-150 fps (difference). And i mean nonstop, you can watch in 1 direction and fps will raise and drop, for whatever reason. Vsync on gives , as it should, stable 60 hz (native) FPS, with all and every setting on/very high. Except when triple buffering is enabled, especially with a lot of effects going on (boss aura, guns, spells etc) fps will freeze basicly (1 fps at best, more like 1/2 FPS) for a short peridod (10-60 seconds).

Disabling Triple Buffering seems to resolve this issue and doesnt affect the image quality in any way (as far as i can tell, but it shouldnt)

I played for like a 30 minutes yesterday and didn't have any issues with lag.

Not sure if it's common knowledge here, but you don't have to spend real money to buy the entrance tickets to Act3+ or Tokyo.

If you go to the marketplace, you can buy the tickets using palladium (game currency).
The act3+ ticket is currently going for 550k-600k.
The tokyo ticket is currently going for 400k-500k.

I played each of the character (6 total) up to around 15th level, and by pooling their money, I was able to buy both tickets easy.

--- You only need 1 ticket per account (not per toon).

How awesome is that?

Are you kidding? I've never seen an Act3 ticket go for less than 500k on the market. In-game vendor shouts usually offer deals around 300-350k, but those are rare.

Started at 100 - 150 and then rose from there, didn't know they were over 400K now.
(Been weeks since I played actively, above is from the first few weeks of the game so yeah I've not been very active lately at all though I play on occasion but with most of the chat disabled due to all spam - maybe it has lessened a bit now - so I've not kept up with those sales shouts either they use via the chat function.)

EDIT: One possibility is that high-level players sort of horde these now, such a situation couldn't happen in the first few weeks thus the higher prices for their equipment or what they use the money for.
(I'm level 25 currently, at the end of Act 3 but we'll see when I resume that.)

Maybe, other players would have more money as you say as the game continues on. Smile
(Still even 100.000 is quite a bit for a new player to grind up to, 500.000 must be quite a challenge unless as above multiple characters are used or have been used.)

EDIT: I'm certain it was 100.000 maybe up to 200.000 initially, normally depending on player so it varied a bit, then over time the price rose up slightly, don't remember seeing any 300.000 palladium offers for tickets while I was playing though but it might have existed, certainly wouldn't be surprising.

I doubt most people are interested, but Hellgate just went ABSOLUTELY free to play, giving free Act3/Tokyo tickets to everyone.

http://t3funhellgate.wordpress.com/2012/07/24/hells-diaries-tokyo-the-new-frontier/

So now you can play the entire game, start to finish, with zero limitations and restrictions. The microtransaction shop is still there, offering boosts and other sundries, but you never need to purchase any of them.

Have they fixed the super annoying major-slowdown to 1 FPS bug? Have they included the high-res textures from the original game?

I loved (loved loved loved) the core of Hellgate - and it STILL hurts thinking about what it could have been.

HGL has been quite a massive disappointment - because it simply isn't playable at all for me.

I haven't seen any improvement to the visuals, nor any download for that matter, so nope. I'm also not sure about that bastard slowdown bug as I've not played in a while. I've always been a fan though - everything about the game just appealed to me quite nicely and I've had a blast the umpteen times I've played through it, but only solo .. never cared about the MP side of things.
