For what purpose would I edit it? Spelling errors?

Fallout NV (Shitrow edition ) also was relatively bug free for me.
But on the other hand I've only spent ~120 hours playing it on my first run, so what do I know right?

Bethesda's games are broken at release because of how idiotic they are, not necessarily because they have bugs. Even the level scaling alone will make the game unplayable, so yeah, I'm not that excited about the release.

I don't understand wtf are you guys talking about. Morrowind/Oblivion, both were fully playable at release, ofcourse, all games have minor bugs/glitches, but that's it.

Only hardware related bugs can make it unplayable, the rest is personal preference. I could live with level scaling in Oblivion, but I have to admit tho, Morrowind was way better.

I played FO3 at release without any mods, didn't have any problems with it, and Skyrim will improve upon FO3..
Also, almost every RPG in existance has level scaling, it's just a lot less evident in linear games. |
Are you implying that Skyrim is Fallout 3 with swords?

Level scaling in general is pure bullshit, but Bethesda's level scaling is even worse than how it is in general. Fallout 3 is one of the worst games I've ever tried, so don't make me laugh. For me, that game has no cure, just like Oblivion. Obsidian's New Vegas seemed way better, but that annoying engine was still enough to make me uninstall it pretty quickly. I just hope they have a decent engine now, so Skyrim can be playable after bothering to install all those mods to fix their idiotic game.

Yeah, I'm sure I didn't try Dead Island, that's why I have that signature... I'm still waiting for that moment that will make me start the game so I can finally play it, but it simply doesn't come. Level scaling is one of the things that we didn't manage to mod out of the game and is still annoying me a lot.

If you take Fallout 3 for what it is (a spin-off ) it's not bad at all. New Vegas is the proper sequel, imo

Don't let you fool by the new name!
By the way, looks like I'm probably one of the few people in the world who actually don't despise the Gamebryo. Animations suck, that's a fact, and it's definitely not cutting-edge when it comes to lighting system/fancy pp effects, but the insane moddabilty is a great plus for me

I didn't even like the first Fallout games and I still hate Fallout 3. I consider it very bad on its own, not as a Fallout game. As for Gamebryo's modability... believe me, I like that too... but that doesn't make the engine good and it doesn't mean they shouldn't have a proper engine that does both things well. Creation Engine or how it's called may not be a completely new engine, but Skyrim already looks a lot better and from the looks of it they fixed what was wrong with Gamebryo, but I still have to play it to see if it really feels right or it's all just to hype the game even more.

oblivion was pretty broken for me. Fallout 3 was massively broken for me. F:NV was good but also had some bugs. I hope skyrim wont need the amount of patches that oblivion needed and that it ll be better stability-wise also. I ll play it and finish it either way, as i have all the others
