The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

If you want to beat FM2011 (without cheating)? Easy. Don't buy anyone expensive. Look around and buy any teenager who is doing well on the cheap. Hold your ground for a few years, and a few of these guys will turn into stars. Either sell them and buy your needs or grow the team around them. I don't care what league you're in, if you have half a brain, the CL will be yours in a few years. --- This strategy is really for career mode, not intended to win everything in year 1.

I really have no clue WTF you guys are expecting. What has the situation you describe to do with easy or not? How does one "beat" FM? Isn't the situation you describe exactly how it is in real life (or how it should be)? You're basically describing how a team is build up with talents for the future. So, how should they make the game harder?

I just expect a game, where i can't let my assistent do all the work, and win by pushing continue all the time. Is that too much to ask?

With the amount of work i put into my test game, i should have been dead last, but instead im in the cup semi final and 9th in the league... and i havent even substituted a player, except for a few injuries.

Let me guess, you are one ofthose people who takes over Manchster United / Barca etc and then moans its too easy.

try LLM or picking a league with a low repuations and try getting it to the top.

People who moan about it being easy generally use the huge teams.

Let me guess, you are one of those people that just need to bitch about something, without even taking 2 minuttes to read the previous posts in the thread.

Had you taked a few minuttes to do just that, you woulden't have made that stupid post.

In FM 11, I won Championshing League with NK Domzale. Very Happy

All thanks to new dynamic club reputation. I started in a shitty low cash league, but when I got into CL for the first time, I instantly become rich because of CL appearance fee. My players already played for bread and watter so I had whooping 2 millions to spend. I scouted all 14-19 year old players from other low cash leagues for 4-5 star players to boost up my squad, hire enough high quality coaches to develop those youngsters and after three seasons I had a team that could easily beat anyone in my domestic league. Then its was just a waiting game to see when I'll win CL. After each season I had a profit of around 10 million, all earned by CL prizes. My players never demanded high contracts and my club reputation grew high enough so I could lure couple of old vets on free contract.

Start unemployed.
No cheating.
You lose the title in min 93, no reload.
Your best player out for the season, no reload.
No FMscout or other "out of game" scouting.

Win CL in 5 seasons?

im basically saying that if you let your asst manager do everything, why be surprised if you end up winning everything?
its like playing a racing game and having full assists on brakes, acceleration etc...why?

Couldn't you have asked instead of assuming and insulting people? Is it that hard to ask first? Kudos to your parents for the great job they did. Rolling Eyes

To answer your question, no, I play mostly Italian teams and I start off unemployed and start in Serie C1 or C2.

So you start in Serie C1\C2 and you win the CL in a couple of years ?

Game is definitely not easy and simple as you say it is. They are calling it TrollBall Manager on 4chan as it always finds ways to fuck you in the ass.

In my test game, i did absolutely nothing myself, i didnt even substitute players in the matches. Fair enough that you disagree, but i find the game is way too easy if i can just click continue and win/finish way higher than predicted.... i meen NO substitutions what so ever, i should be at the buttom of the league playing like that, not close to European places, and certainly not in the league cup semi final.

Also i disagree with your comparison, from the previous games i find that i do a better job than the assistent does, so its not like using playing with full assist in a racing game, as i didnt make the game easier on myself.
The reason i tried the assistent approach, was to make the game as hard as possible, and see if i would still win/finish high

Perhaps you should try for yourself, perhaps (hopefully) i was just "lucky" to reach a good possition, but i have read about similar problems on sigames official forum, including a few posts where a guy beat liverpool 10-0 at anfield, and another guy beating man utd 18-1 at home with bolton (that was a friendly though).

ah ok mvp,i thought you meant you were getting yr asst manager to do everything for you.i didnt realise you did NOTHING but just press continue.
to be fair,i have played them all going way back to the original CM series on the amiga and i must say that with each year, for me,it does appear to be getting easier.
for example,i want to start with my team, man city, but i know it would be too easy so i force myself to start in the lower leagues.
this year i will make an attempt to try out fifa manager 12.

but what's the fun in letting the assistant do it all? (apart from the fact that it might be easier to win)

If you are referring to mvp's example, he was testing what happens if you don't do anything yourself (or I think so). And the test proved that it's possible to be successful without any effort. And it's sad...

must admit, ive never just pressed continue to see what happens...but im tempted now to try it out just to see.you really would expect to keep losing, not winning maybe unless you choose the TOP teams to begin with.

Ok just to clear up a few things.

My assistent has handled press conferences pre/half/post team talks, as I stated in my initial post on page 2. I see that as a disadvantage, as i could do a better job myself.

press conferences are screwed anyway...total waste of time and totally suicidal if you do let your asst manager do them.
Mvp- have you properly tried any of the fifa manager games before?

aren't the press confs changed in 2012 to make it more realistic, less repetitive and more of a challenge?
