Its the reason I bought a PS3, just for Uncharted and God of War, only other game I got also is the HD trilogie of Prince of persia.
Damn. This generation is ending in 2013 and I am still only on pc and 360.
I cant miss uncharted series. Is every ps3 hackable? Is it hard to do?
Can I just get any used ps3 and just dump uncharted onto it?

It's sadly not that easy. You'll need a ps3 with firmware version of 3.55 or lower to be able to install custom firmware. Maybe some of the newer versions can be downgraded but im not sure about that. And besides we can't play any game released after march this year since sony fixed their exploits. We'll have to wait for the recently announced True Blue jailbreak that will possible allow us to play the newer games.

I didnt knew that. I thought that its easier than x360. Now I have to talk my friend off buying ps3, becouse Ive told him so much bullshit that its so easy and accesible
besides, I am happy with 360. Even with xgd3 now, everything is working. Damn box just need more exclusives

Well.. at least the prices are accesible now Not uncharted3 though.. but by the time you finish uncharted1, killzone, gow etc etc.. it will drop down.. Got all my games for 20-30$.. well worth it.. even for a cheapskate like me
(1) Install Uncharted 3 onto the PS3
(2) delete/remove camera.txt from dev_hdd0/GAMES/BCES01175/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/build/main/movies1/
(3) Replace the EBOOT.BIN in dev_hdd0/GAMES/BCES01175/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/ with the one included in the RAR
(4) Launch Game in multiMAN and click yes to edit the .sfo to 3.55
(5) PROFIT
NOTES: GOING TO DRAKE'S JOURNAL FREEZES GAME. UPDATE 1.01 FIXES THIS BUG, BUT IS ENCRYPTED. DO NOT UPDATE THE GAME, IT WILL BECOME UNPLAYABLE ON 3.55
sounds too good to be true, if its possible why the hell has it taken them so long to get any of the other games working and why cant they just "patch" the new update >.> sounds fishy.
The fix is real, it was leaked by someone who betrayed confidence. It doesn't work correctly yet which is why it wasn't due to be released. See people... this is why you can't have nice things. The leaker was trusted to test this and it was leaked against the crackers' wishes.

Totally agree with you there, due to this "leakage" it may stop people yet again in contributing to the ps3 scene and it could well and truly scew things up for the rest of us again just because an unknown wanted a bit of e-fame off the back of someone elses work who on top of that trusted them!!
You can use the leaked, broken, fix on 3.55... but it's not good enough. The game hard locks when opening the log - good luck trying to complete UC3 without it. The guy had worked so hard on this, only to have it leaked. That's just lame and the perfect example of how shitty the PS3 scene has become.
Love the Uncharted series. Will have this Tuesday. Think it is time to say bye to the jailbreak PS3 and just update and enjoy. Not sure what is in store with this scene, if anything, but it was fun while it lasted Anyone else going to update and go "normal"? I figured I have the Jtag 360 for any multiplatform games that I may want.

I wouldn't, personally, since I'm a vindictive prick who won't stand for people screwing me over... but yes, the cracker will indeed continuing working his/her thankless ass off and try to produce a working fix.

Just to confirm, the game DOES work! You can play it right up until you need to access the journal, then it dies. Also I believe someone has already resigned for 3.41 as well.

Yeah i wouldn't have done it myself neither because i would feel the same way. But good to hear the cracker doesn't let this stand in his way! Atleast there are some good people left in this scene it seems
