Like I said just dropping the english.ltc it doesn't work, nor does replacing the russian.ltc with it.

People on the Steam forums are talking about the Russian version having Russian AND English but the English version has to be chosen ON DOWNLOAD & INSTALL.
Whether that means that you can access the other languages once it's installed, I don't know but I dare say that the option for Russian is so that Russian players can have it in their native language and the other version is the regular. I suspect once the English version is chosen for download that the other languages are available - but not Russian.
In short - I think you can pick which one you want... the English (poss multi-lang) version or the Russian. Can't confirm but that's how it looks.

Omg yea 18 hours since release, the scene is falling apart - we will have to buy all our games from now on.. its as the mayans predicted, the world is comming to an end.
That said i would like a crack as well, but i might just buy it, that gamecard link is less than half the price here in Denmark.
Anyone bought from there, and recived the activation key?

I find it disturbing too, not because I want to pirate it. But because I want it to get cracked asap, so this steam only nonsense can go away. I'm very tempted to noy buy the game simply because of it. But the gamecards site is such a good deal I think I'll buy it soon.
Its a good site, used it before, response is fast.

Cool, tonight its beer time, but if a crack is not released tomorrow, i'll buy it from that site.
There is also a chance that SIgames will start patching games more often with steam, which would make it worth it, sucks waiting for steam patches to be cracked.
Also Sigames prolly deserve some of my money by now, concidering i have pirated every single one of their games since CM2.

Haha yeah then its probably time to buy it. Yeah its been painful to play when you know there is a patch out but no crack. But most of the time I have bought it, and its well worth it really. And I really don't mind steam at all, but I mind not having an option to have it there or not, its complete bull.

399 RUb is only $13 so thats the cheapest I have seen it.

Yup. There should be a patch pretty soon as well, as there are a few bugs reported already. Plus, I think the database will be updated more frequently now its on Steam, and that can only be good 
By the way, the FM Editor 2012 is now a separate install through Steam and you have to go to 'tools' to install it. The reason being - So they can throw out updates for that too, separate from the main game.

i read that there was already a patch to fix some minor issues...dont expect regular patches though..SI normally always stick to a set routine with 3 patches only.expect the next patch january to coincide with the transfer window.

I got the phone call, and they just ask for verify of email, address and order number. Said it will take 2-3 hours for the code to come though. I used the Live Chat and was fine for me.
