1) I use dvd decrypter to burn them never had a game not work from using it unless its been a nuked game
2) I burn all my games at the max speed of the media and never have a problem i guess it depends on how decent your drive is
3) Some Xboxs will read any dvd - or +, some dont read + at all, so stick with -R if your dont want to test for yourself
4) Dunno i have softmodded xbox it plays PAL and NTSC fine
5) You can do it by having 2 NICS in your pc there's a turtorial about setting it up on xbox scene. U hjave to configure the card for the xbox a certain way
5) there's various ones Craxtion etc etc thats more trial and error. Ur better opff reading the forums and tutorials on xbox scene and finding one u like or one that the consensus favors

why anybody buys a chip when they have PC and basic PC knowledge to softmod with, i don't know ?
how hard is it to connect your xbox HD to your PC and backup then change the files on the xbox c:\ ...its that freaking easy

yeah but if it fucks up you need a chip, so a chip is safer.
As to Pal / NTSC, I have no idea whta the bloke was saying about two NIC's
there are programs to change the region of the xbox, dependng on your TV it will work fine, but most games I have played on my Pal box work fine regardless of if they are NTSC or pal (as i said most)

completely false... either use a gamesave exploit to get access to the xbox HD or connect it to your PC, all you need for 100% complete safety is the eeprom.bin off your xbox to unlock/lock any HD on your PC with a programme called XboxHdm. If you have a new box and hence no eeprom.bin file then you can just hotswap and thats extremely easy too if you don't have the gamesave exploit option.
the latest softmods Ndure/Uxe with NK10 you use a virtual eeprom, so there is no chance of messing it up.
but if you like spending money and also like to pay someone to fit it, if you don't fancy taking a soldering iron to the xbox yourself, then a chip is the way to go
with the gamesave exploit there is even no need to unscrew the xbox, keeping the warranty valid. Use a installer like "Krayzies" and you can't go wrong... its the only way to have a new modded xbox and keep the warranty

yea mine is softmodded i hotswapped mine. In all it took about 10 mins to back up copy the files put it back together and boot it up n start playing games
cant go wrong really

I would suggest getting a xecutor 3 kommando. Since I chipped mine with one ive never looked back.

Well thanks for all your help...sorry if it takes long to reply but it seems that i was unfairly temp ban by a mod on a powertrip...
Anyway the X2 chip works like a charm and i downloaded some PAL games and they play like a NTSC game without having to change any settings at all so thats pretty cool..and playing Xvid on my Xbox is way much better than on my PC

I would personally recommend if you haven't done so already using either the Auto installer Deluxe 2.0 disc or the Slayers 2.6 install disc both will set up your Xbox with a plethora of tools, dashboards, emulators, desktop themes, config tools, media players at the click of a button and they include the Enigmah NTSC-PAL Video Switcher which will become a necessity in time if your collection ever gets as big as mine.
