If it wasn't a pen then Gerrard would have scored anywayz... so who cares.

As for Dudek moving off his line.... well no different to how Brazil got to the World cup finals in 2002. Sometimes it isn't seen, same goes for decisions made for Milan in the lead up to getting in the final.

yea they seem to be forgetting shev's elbow against inter. not only did he not get sent off he scored the only goal.

Does anyone know the offside rule?

There has to be a GAP between the two players. The linesman has to see AIR between the two players. On that basis, he is onside. Nice try with your pictures after the ball has left his foot though Martinius Rolling Eyes

Notice nearer, he is nearer the goal. Does NOT matter if there is a gap.
It would not be offise (if) as Fifa states :

In order to encourage attacking play, FIFA recently stated that players were level unless there was a gap between the players. Quoting the rules is pretty useless since FIFA often dictates how they should be interpreted.

This is funny.

The final is over and the result is a fact. Na "analysis" of offside will be true since you own only 2D picture and moreover, viewed from far perspective.

If someone does not like it then he should ask himself how is it possible to lost 3 goals in 360 seconds in the final of Champion's League.
