I'm sure people remember San Andreas, but GTA4 was the subbject of discussion.

Wasn't really my words, mate, I was just referring to DCB's post.. though to be fair; GTAIV *was* far more "grimdark" than any of the previous series. Rockstar levied that a little bit with BoGT though Very Happy Either way, I still stand by what I said; leave GTA to be more "serious" and have Saint's Row as the "goofy" one Very Happy

It's ok compared to SR2, but still far far FAR away from being so detailed and in depth as APB customization... if only Sad

Let me download and I'll check if I can get rid of them. Hopefully they're as easy to remove as they were in SR2.

Edit: Hmm, it might not be the same in the end... or maybe the file that needs to be modified is just not there in this demo.

There's that, but I don't think it's the right one. For SR2 there was a shaders_pc file right in the main folder of the game. You just needed to open it with notepad and delete some lines.

Yeah I think they packed everything in order to make it a bit less cluttered (And avoid people hacking at the game 10 or so minutes after release, hah ) so it's either the main file or the shaders file that needs to be altered.
(startup, effects, shaders - has to be one of those I think.)

EDIT: Shaders_vpp.pc "privacy bar" as it's called now, easy enough but I'll have to test it first. Razz

EDIT: Ah no it has to be entirely deleted to work as intended, still the above does as it should but the effect is very much there just a single solid color now as there's nothing else defined.

This is the closest I could get to Rayne (well this is how I liked it the most). Now I'm afraid to get out of the game because I'll lose it Laughing I uploaded it, but I can't see it on the site, I don't seem to have anything in the uploads section of my account.
