Say what you want about console gaming - yes, it doesn't look nearly as good like on PC, but atleast I NEVER have to play at 10 FPS because there's a shitty driver, bad optimization or whatever.. played some MP and went fine on Metro.. got Grand Bazaar (or whatever it's name was), and after 10 minutes I get big FPS drops, every 5-10 seconds. And I even lowered my settings before I started playing MP - all on High instead of Ultra, 2xAA, Medium Post AA, 8xAnisotropic filtering and SSAO.. seriously?!
It was fun while it worked smoothly though.. but the fact that I even have to bother with shit like this, on a big release and with decent hardware... sigh.

In fact I just had that shit happen in Dark Souls, probably my favourite game of the year so far, on PS3!
It's definitely much much rarer on a console...but consider that on a console when stuff like that happens you can do NOTHING. you're just powerless... on a pc at least you can install different drivers or change a a cfg or whatever and fix that shit. on a console you're just fucked.
Come on, Sin, I'm sure you can figure it out and get it running properly.
While I had my fair share of issues like that on my PC I don't think I ever had an instance where it could not be solved with a little bit of work. (with the exception of bad optimization of course in which case you're fucked again, but that's not the issue here with battlefield)

ROFL, I'm playing "night shift", my Marine buddy told me to knife a guard so I creep up to him and as I'm about to knife Blackburn drops dead without a reason. WTF?
I wasn't shot, guard didn't see me and all of a sudden, DEATH!
Edit: two more attempts, first one the enemy somehow knew I was there even though I'm crouch walking and being totally silent, second time I dropped dead again for no reason.

Of course it CAN happen on consoles, my "NEVER" might've been taken literally - but in all my years of gaming (I'm 25 now, and I've been playing videogames since I had the physical ability to do so, quite literally) the ammount of problems I've had with PC games versus console games is not a pretty ratio, therefore I can almost say it never happens on consoles...
Oh well, like with other new game releases, wait a week or so for people to hopefully figure out what's wrong...

I uninstalled cap3 today, now my game is smooth, all maxed exept aa2x now my 5970 crossfirecard is working really nice without stutter, constant 60fps with vsync.

Finally got through, apparently I was supposed to run at him then knife. >.>
I'm now at the second part of the mission and I have a new problem, I'm supposed to cover my buddy but the second he tells me to do so and the objective changes I get shot to death. |:
Oh and I saw a mounted machine gun firing by itself, in the opposite direction of our position...
This game has issues.

was waiting for my key from gamebuyers but turns out they can't really provide EU keys (and they wouldn't provide any key at all before release date)
i could probably sue them for showing a 19€ key preorder in august and not being able to do it
canceled my order, went for g2play, 27€ with my points, delivered in less than 10 mins
i'm trying to install the game using the clonedvd (don't want to wait for 10Gb of download), i hope i won't have any russian in it, the key is EU, has anyone done a similar install? (RU dvd with Eu key?)
[EDIT]at the end of install origin asked me to choose a language and is now downloading a 1.6Gb update so i guess it's okay

So I ran the game again, this time lowering the resolution from 1920 to 1680.. after 5 minutes it stuttered so hard, it was more freezeframed than running..
So, disabled SLI and tried again, was playable for about half the match, then the stuttering/0 FPS started again. Pushed on playing, got a little better, but dropped here and there again.
It's not playable in this state it's in, it's goddamn horrible..

Using latest drivers? Atleast my 570 sli is working flawlessy. Maybe they have forgotten rest cards outside 5xx series ;<

Why am I getting such shit performance?
If I play on Ultra/High it runs smooth except for micro-stuttering every two or so minutes but if I set it to Low it runs like absolute shit, about 5-10 FPS.
My PC is more than capable of handling the game, I updated my drivers and closed all unnecessary programs.
