I STILL CANT GET THIS FUCKING THING TO START EVEN AFTER GETTING THE CRACKLESS VERSION?? It still does not start without asking for Onion whatever the fuck its called. Any suggestions?

EA support is awesome. Converted my BF3 LE from Russian to Eglish in like 10 mins. Just asked me where I bought it from and thats it. Easy peasy.

Did you tell them you bought the game from a Russian site or that you recieved the game as a gift?

I told them that I bought locally In Canada. Did not mention any particular place nor did they ask me. It was a shot in the dark lol. Guess they dont want to bother and would rather appease us since they are swamped. I had to wait 1 hour LOL. Was worth it.

Im currently waiting. 29 Minutes to go, Il give it a shot. Although my game is already fully english now that I applied the patch, maybe in the future when I reinstall I wont have to keep applying the english language patch

No its a 1.1GB english language pack. The Russian version downloads the Russian language pack by default

yeah but further updates could have problems if they update localization files , guess it's worth a try

The language files are over 1GB. First you have to download the english language pack, replace the Russian language files and THEN apply the registry changes

I have the same processor as you but oc'ed @ 3.4Ghz. Paired to my oc'ed GTX570 I get pretty much 99% gpu usage and I'm getting 50-60fps with everything on Ultra, MSAA to 2x, FXAA to medium. A few times y may dip to 40 fps. |
Good to know, thanks! I guess GPU-Z shows GPU utilization. Forgot about that. You can't step up to 3.6ghz? I had no thermal increase stepping up from 3.4 to 3.6.

Yea MSI Afterburner is awesome as well. But I find that MSI Afterburner is more catered toward the more hardcore user. EVGA Precision is more user friendly while MSI Afterburner lets you tweak GPU voltage. I say have both installed

limited edition key includes battlefield 3 and karkand dlc. no need for a second serial

Don't know bud worked for me. Maybe try telling them that you bought it from someone if they insist on wanting to know where you bought it specifically. Otherwise don't get into details. Just say that you bought it locally and thats it.

Played some more, game stutters like a motherfucker, tomorrow I'll try turning off hyperthreading.
Maybe it'll also fix mouse lag which is getting on my nerves.
Oh and what the fuck, I knifed someone, the knife was in his throat when someone killed me and I didn't get my dog tag! ><
The knife was in his fucking throat FFS, once the knife hits the guy it should count as a kill even if someone kills you before you grab the tags, IMO.
