Plenty.. but seeing as I already own the base game and would like more playability out of it, then it stands to reason I want the extra content. Any particular reason you felt the need to comment on my gaming habits?

It just occurred to me that in every thread I read there's you getting all excited about the game. No surprise, then, that you're broke.
But no worries, bro, I ain't judging you.

Well I just started but to say something more about the game or well this new expansion there seems to be numerous side quests and even new functionality like the essences (You'll get one early on.) and the new more powerful ultimate abilities, those are actually quite handy but they're not just given to you.
Also has a respecialization fountain in the first "town" hub you access (Not that I've gotten much further.) and I guess since the DLC can be started anytime in the main game it also scales a bit to the player.
I got into it at level 30 and reached level 31, had all the best items from the spire and rather OK skills but still at 2000 health (with items) those enemies deal between 400 to 1000 damage per hit so defending and evading is critical, boss battles even more so and of course those special skills (Plus the ultimate abilities, only one I have so far though enhances healing but it's very useful.) also there's a number of new journal and lore entries so if you want to see the history of this desert area (Ties in slightly to Dungeon Siege 1 from what I remember.) that's possible too.
Can't say how the main quest will turn out, that treasure might be anything and I'm unsure how long the adventure will be, it's pretty packed though in each area I've been so far, three boss battles already though two of those were unrelated to the story.
Enemy variant is also nice to see but it works similar to the old creatures and with the high damage dealt it's been a pretty tough challenge.
(Some variant of the skeletons and a few worm like entities so far plus some bandits.)
Visually it's a nice area though it's rather dark and brown so far.
(Like the use of specular highlights and the normal mapping in some of the areas like just the church plus special effects like that fountain.)
Voice acting holds up OK in comparison to the main game, still these funny names however but it's just a minor thing I've noticed.
Not entirely certain what else to say, it still plays similar to Dungeon Siege 3 though with some few additions, companions also integrate well and comment on various events, seen no new items as such but new unique and rare variants of existing equipment, might change later on, especially once I get further into the currently locked chambers and areas.
(Wonder what that treasure could be, maybe it's that nuke from Dungeon Siege 1 or the terminator type chickens again? ha ha.)

How does this expand the main game? Is it separate campaign or it's integrated into the existing gameworld?

It seems to be more like a side story, once you unlock the causeways you can find a note in there and then start working your way through the desert area, you can't go back after finishing the game though but thankfully they do a endgame autosave before you enter the final causeway gate into the boss fight area which can be used.
(First and second image I posted shows this a bit better than I can explain it.)

I'm struggling here guys. Convince me. Please? I have enough cash to get this... or the Dead Space pack on the Halloween sale. Not both.

Yeah, November is a tough month.. so many TripA titles coming out. I thoroughly enjoyed DS3 and I really want more content for it, but this DLC is the same bloody price as the Dead Space pack - and I'll get far more gameplay out of that than this. The only reason I'm leaning towards the DS3 content is because I haven't played it yet, unlike Dead Space titles.
Argh.

I'd say go with the DLC if you've already played both DS games.

Done. I'll snag the Dead Space titles some other time =)
~EDIT~
WOO!! I managed to get the DLC from GreenMan for free, thanks to a trade-in and some credit I had.

I finished the DLC last night and I gotta say- it was brilliant, exactly what I was expecting; a bunch of new areas, tons of new items, new enemies ... and even three new abilities. I enjoyed it immensely.

Is it better than the original? It was fun, but a bit repetitive.
Ah fuck my saves are gone. Where does this DLC start?
