LoL, but um, yeah. I dont care if it doesnt look THAT much better than vice city, vice city is fine, the only annoying thing is perhaps that nowadays the textures are too low res there, and the view distance, but those two things are different here so =D
Then again on that 20min / 10 sec video, if they recorded it by themselves in 1024x768... Of course its gonna be choppy, count half the fps if you record in that high a res, at least. Dont worry itll run fine, if it runs fine on a ps2 it will run fine on a PC (i assume the view distance can be set, hence even really bad pc's can run it good)

People go crazy about the system requirements for each GTA game despite the fact that all the recent mega-popular ones have all used the same engine.
I ran both GTA3 and VC on my old nVidia TNT2. Hell, Vice City ran better than GTA3 because in each new installement the graphics are barely pushed up, but the engine is optimized more.
Anyway, anybody with a 1.2ghz, Radeon 9000 or better will be able to run this fine at 1024x768 with a good draw distance.

Pallebrun (what kinda name is that anyway) just give up, stop trying to prove a pointless point that is wrong anyway.
Rockstar have said themselves that as with Vice City, they will use their higher res textures for the pc version, since they dont create a whole library of mega-low res textures for an entire game, they create high res textures and scale them down for the consoles.
So thats a confirmed 100% thing, higher res textures for the PC and somewhat for the xbox. Period.
And the entire vice city dvd on ps2 thing has already been discussed sooo many times over and over, i dont remember what it was but i think it was something in the line of hundreds of megs of pure random data (empty data) just to make it harder to copy.
(they were gonna use a dvd for the ps2 anyway like all other games, so why not make it full and add some copy messer upper?)

After watching the 3min pc trailer I can easily say, the textures are as shitty as they were on the ps2 version, sadly :/
I mean, just look at the buildings, the road, the vehicles. 
The only thing that makes it look better is the overall higher res that the pc supports, just as before 
And compression on pc games do make the disc size ALOT smaller baleu, you shuld know that as a pc gamer.
