Already saw it!
Read the book on the Enron bankrupcy, even a big eye opener. It is amazing that the shit that happened in 2001 happened again in some form in 2007 and even now...

super 8 7/10
everything is explained unless you turn off your brain and think your watching a michael bay film.
i liked it and i liked the style it reminds me of the old 80's and 90's films before kids were portrayed as fucking idiots.
the film was set in the 90s i take it though seeing as the guy in yhe petrol station had a walkmen? he was listening to me avatar aswell |
Uh, the rest of the movie, I mean the peoples clothing, interior of the houses, the cars etc. didn't tell you it was the 80's/early 90's? It was the Walkman?

Super 8 - 6.5/10 - like a sequel to E.T. but with more violence xD

hallows 2, so the second one.
which is a pity because i thought it was actually pretty good. not anywhere near as good as the first 4, but still miles better than the shitty previous 3 films.
started off pretty crap, but once they got to the school it picked up quite a bit.
only complaints i would really have, is that for an 'epic battle' it really didnt feel very epic.... and thats kinda mirrored by the fact that a few significant characters die, but you never really give a shit because they arent given any emotional scenes or anything - even the bits where major characters die, they lack any kind of punch... perhaps they did it because they didnt want kiddies to start crying or some shit? i dunno... just seemed that they really mishandled the emotional power some of the scenes really needed.
oh... and
Spoiler: | harry breaking the wand? what a fucking idiot... all the power he had... could have cured all the worlds diseases.. could have cured world hunger... and who knows, maybe it was even powerful enough to make rons sister look half-way decent. *ZING*!! |
anyway id give it a 6/10. would have easily been a 7, 7.5 if the death scenes had actually been handled decently, and the battle had FELT more like a battle rather than a small fight...
oh and one final thing... the main bad guy...
Spoiler: | just.. dissolving? really? bad guys shouldnt just get to dissolve, they should be shattered, or blown up.... itt was easily one of the weakest nemesis defeats i have ever seen in a movie... if thats how it was handled in the book, it was a major writing fail. |

Yeah, the second part was way better than the first... That's why I'm surprised...

whyas it call super 8? sequel to E.T , prequel to district 9 |
It's about kids filming a movie using a "Super 8" video camera.

Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows 2 - 8/10 - best in the series. The first part, which was a very obvious set up for this one, should've been a one hour starting part of this movie. There was no need to split it in two.

yes there was. so that they could contain as much of the pure suck as possible in a separate film. if i had to sit through an additional hour of shit at teh beginning of deathly hallows part 2, i would not have considered it as favourably as i have.

Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows 2. 6/10. Decent. Doesnt really matter how dark they try to make it, the wands and broom flying still makes it feel like something intended for 7 year olds.
Another Earth. 7.5/10. Surprinsingly feel-good drama/sci-fi.

Tintin (3D):
First the movie: 7/10 maybe even more..cause it was really enjoyable and as a knower of all Tintin they way the introduced haddock and blended the stories was really well done. Overall a good job, imo.
The 3D: My second 3D experience(the first was Avatar) and once again I dont get the fuzz or even why 3D is still employed. I suspect I might be in the group of people who dont really get an experience out of it. Never in Avatar or in Tintin do I really feel that anything is popping out of the screen, save for once in Tintin now that I think back. ?/10
Movie as a whole worth a ticket, though cause its beautifully animated and well made.
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

I presume you were at a special screening, cause the worldwide premier starts at the end of December?

Nope, it is running in Danish theatres now, and for that matter pretty much every other country in Europe.

zipfero: you probably have a visual disability? My friend has that so he cant enjoy 3D either.. I showed him the best scene i could find in a 3D movie (Alice in Wonderland) and paused it. For me the object is maybe ~50 cm outside the screen, for him it looks like it's maybe 1 cm outside the screen, so for him 3D is useless. 3D is also about depth (like the depth reaches into my neighbours apartment), so if you see neither you probably have a disability.

I watched all the Fast & Furios lately(Fast five not included). Especially Tokyo Drift was amazing in terms of cars. But other than that, it was a pure waste of time... Especially the 4th movie(Fast & Furious. Same title with the first movie? That's some creativity there! ) was a complete joke.
I enjoyed the second movie most in terms of story/dialogues.

The man from nowhere - 8/10 - excellent movie. The start is a bit emo, but it steams on after 15 minutes or so. Predictable script though.
I saw the devil - 5/10 - very slow, relies too much on shock value and it's uninteresting.

+1. Don't get what 'everyone' sees in this movie.
