The cracked exe is v. 12.0.2.33515, I think the latest one was 12.0.3. something.
P.S. What a nifty cracktro, check it out if you'll grab the release!

Can i use the Football.Manager.2012.STEAM.UNLOCKED-ALI213 release for the full benefit of the patch or do i have to use the skidrow release?
Dunno if Skidrow comes prepatched or SI only patches the exe (can use other releases)

I'm going to grab this pirated version this year as my team Swansea City are in the Premiership this season, but there's no way I would pay even £20 for what is in effect a glorified spreadsheet. I've pirated it the last few years and not even bothered to play it. In fact I've NEVER bought a copy of Football Manager in all the years it's been around.
So many new games and even with lots of spare time it still isn't enough. With Skyrim and Saints Row 3 to come soon and only just started playing BF3 it's going to be a busy gaming few months. Oh and then there's SWTOR in Dec..................

I used to buy it religously every year but haven't for the last few simply because it is never different enough from the previous; not enough to justify the price anyway.

You obviously haven't played the demo. Many new features in this game, and improvements on existing. Its more of a jump forward than FM11 was to FM10.
That said, there are still things that drasticly needs to be improved. Match Engine/AI would be a good start.

Anyway, that ILEFX guy says the protection is similar to the one in 2009(which was a pain in the ass) + steam and maybe he will release v2 this week but nothing confirmed. Kinda skeptic about it but we will see what happens.
