you guys dont know what your missing, after chapter 12 the game really takes off graphics wise, and action wise. i wasnt feeling it was living up to UC2 the first 11 chapters, but omg what a ride after that point
btw im using the chapter 9 fix and chapter 11 fix, im now at chapter 19 and there has been absoultly NO puzzles requireing the journal, or any use for the journal. just pure action sequences, and they are fucking awesome.
btw your not missing much using the save games, the first one you miss a tiny cutscene that u can view on youtube, and chapter 11 your miss a very easy puzzle. not much, we still get 99% of the game so i consider this fully playable

if u getting corrupted like me try this ! just copy saves "the one after freeze" don't replace any files like PARAM.SFO copy them like u got them ... u will then be able to load it will say that "this data was from another user saving the game to a new save will be disable " don't worry about that.. go yes u will not be able to make new save but autosave is working fine and every time u press start the game will autosave and u can load from that! checkpoint will also be saved ! that's how i did it and im in chapter 20 !
time from a break and little BF3 time

its very simple really, put the PS3 folder you get online on a usb stick in the root directory, go to your ps3 menu and click on the usb drive under saved games, youl see the uncharted 3 save in their, simple hit copy and your ready to play
only thing is you cannot use trophies, the ps3 will give you a warning when copying over the save data saying you will no longer be able to use multiple saves or get trophys by useing another persons save data

yeah, i actually remember now doing that exact same thing with an usb stick years ago for some other game. wtf, so this whole
Spoiler: | 2 º decompression and we put it to a flash drive or USB, can also be done with ftp
3 º open Multimedia and press select + start
4 th in the filemanager now we will see two columns. on the left we went to
dev_hdd0/home/000001/SAVEDATA/BCES01175_NDI_UNCHARTED3_BT_5
5 ° in the right column we
dev_usb00/PS3/SAVEDATA/BCES01175_NDI_UNCHARTED3_BT_5
6 º copy all files except PARAM.SFO
7 º Multimedia close and start the game.
Note: Point 4 where it says 000001, refers to the user's default ps3, if you are using another user or you have created and you do not know but it is, enter and search the folder all BCES01175_NDI_UNCHARTED3_BT_5
The USB00 also may vary depending on where you shall have put your usb, USB00 or usb01 can be
AFTER MAKING THE WHOLE PROCESS, SAVE THE GAME FOR THE PS3 MODIFY PARAM.SFO, having done that you never give an error. |
crap is just for maintaining trophies?
/edit: reached the chapter 9 freeze, savegame worked flawlessly, this isn't even what i would classify as a hiccup and yes, fuck throphies. ONWARDS!
oh and i might add that the journal IS in fact necessary to do the puzzles, but thankfully its contents got uploaded and glancing over to the other screen is more comfortable than having to open it anyway

Uncharted.3.PROPER.FIX.KMEAW355.READNFO-Nobody
Quote: | One good leak deserves another. Here's the 100% working fix to Uncharted 3! (for KMEAW 3.55 CFW)
Follow these steps IN ORDER:
(1) Extract all .psarc's into the folder they are already in and then delete them on your HDD.
When you're done it should look like this:
..\USRDIR\build\actor33\
..\USRDIR\build\bin\dc1\
..\USRDIR\build\misc1\
..\USRDIR\build\movie1\
..\USRDIR\build\pak23\
..\USRDIR\build\text1\
..\USRDIR\build\vtex1\
(2) Now, merge included USRDIR folder with the existing one where you extracted your psarcs. OVERWRITE all files when prompted.
(3) Replace the EBOOT.BIN with the one included.
(4) Transfer to your PS3, launch in Multiman.
(5) PROFIT.
100% WORKING FIX
- No Freezing
- Journal Works
- Fck you Bat420 and moogie

Updated NFO:
IMPORTANT: There is two failures in the quickly written .nfo:
A) Correct directory path is ..USRDIR\build\main\... (missed the main subdir)
B) Correct directory name is "movie1" (not movies1)

Notes from Uploader:
IMPORTANT: There is 3 mistakes in the quickly written .nfo:
A) Correct directory path is ..USRDIR\build\main\... (missed the main subdir)
B) Correct directory name is "movie1" (not movies1)
C) There seem to be another path typo: when you unpack bin.psarc it creates two
folders - empty bin folder and bindc1 folder with files, but in fix is only folder bin with
files. Temporarily answer: Just replace existing files with files in this fix, where the files
are, thats the correct directory. Easy to figure out yourself.

i can't really understand the nfo,it's so confusing. did anyone managed to run the game, and if so how? i should put the game on the ps3 first and then use usb to transfer that fix,or i should do what is written in the nfo(i don't fully understand) and than transfer the game to my ps3?
