is there no rate of fire in this, I have to use full auto for everything? I'm sure it was there in mw2.
also, I shoot mens in the head, they go down, then like Michael fucking Myers they get back up again. It's absurd

This one. Much better. Battlefield3 felt like quick time event with very frustrating deaths and medicore - standard political plot. Tho jet mission and sound design was incredible.
but if I had to choose I would buy MW3...for singleplayer.
Battlefields3 conquer mode on pc is total chaos. Very different from mw3. But I dont think I have to explain that |
The opposite choice to deelix ... interesting. I think we need a BF3 VS MW3 poll for the single player.
Never heard of conquer mode lol. |
I think it's clearly a question of personal taste.
I enjoyed more of the first mission in MW3 than all of BF3, but I always been more keen of the MW3 gameplay.
Other tastes will get you other conclusions. |

I really dont see how BF3 SP was worse tbh... Dont get me wrong, I loved the MW3 ride, and the level variation is awesome. The plot was decent too... but I get the feeling the only reason MW3 SP is so popular is because most FPS games got boring SP.

Really enjoying both BF3 and MW3 at the moment. They both have a unique feel to them, which keeps it exciting.
No complaints here! Although in MW3, at least on Veteran mode, I've resorted to the old tactics... ie. charge forward and take cover and let my allies do everything.

The only reason I marked BF3 down was the annoying use of quicktime events at the drop of a hat.
I stopped enjoying games with QT events after I first played Dragons Lair in the arcades, that's a lot of years ago, now some think they are some new clever stuff.
They are boring, annoying and take the pace right out of a game.
Battlefield minus them would have been much more fun, even worse to finish the game using one...

Without spoiling MW3, can anyone tell me if there is a sniper mission like the first and like the first two MW games, do you get to kill that one boss man at the end in a very cool way?

I'm 42.3% in now, truly loving it, lots of twists and turns, some seriously fun situations and all I can say is Paris..WOW
Great eye candy but with a fun game around it, only minor niggle, people you are with can be right clumsy bastards, you are trying to run down a corridor and your mate is in the way. That aside its good old fashioned MW.
And, yes Daman there's some sniping elements to where I'm at, no whole missions but deffo sniper play.

SP is way much better than BF3. I didnt even bother finishing BF3 before starting MW3.
