I am still not confident regarding intkeys. I will wait to see if people really get the proper version and not some Ruskie second rate. Wink

At least they seem to be trustworthy regarding refunds, so I think it is a minimal risk only.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

IntKeys definitely sells Russian stuff. Both my RAGE and Heroes VI keys were Russian, but luckily both games can be played in English with no problems. I'm hoping the same goes for Skyrim =)

I don't see a reason why pay and then go through the trouble for refund, if I can just wait and see. Not like we won't have iso demo to keep me busy. Laughing

Skyrim is Region Free, or thats what it says on all Key buying places...LOL...
But as well, I read that Oblivion and other games from Bethesda were Regional locked...

Which makes it 100% true ;p

@sabin1981 I don't mind keys coming from Mother, but want to have the option to have it in English and update on time and not when some Ruskie publisher decides they have raped the EXE enough with some StarForce shit.

Oh I agree mate, I agree completely. Like Locke was saying earlier; the Polish copies of the games were locked and raped hard.. but dsergei put up an FAQ with statement that this time the game shares the same id regardless of region. That's enough for me to believe we'll get equal, non region-specific, treatment.

That seems pretty expensive for Tesco, who usually go out of their way to beat the highstreet prices (comparative; Game.co.uk has it for the same price) And yes; Tesco is GBP.

Shit my bad Sad

Its still alot cheaper there than on Steam shit.
49.99 dollars are = 49.99 Euro...

Soon the average games are going to be around 100 bucks a pop, then we will see people suffering alot...

Damn desperate :
In France, two masked men armed with tear gas and knives stole a truck thought to contain around 6000 copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Every new game is expensive on Steam if you can buy from another site. Directly buying from steam is only good for sales and indie games.

I never activated a game with VPN, but I found this guide:
http://cdkeyshere.com/how-to-redeem-a-russian-cd-key-via-vpn.html

So, if Skyrim needs VPN, is this all I have to do, or is there anything else I should know?
Like exiting/starting Steam before doing VPN stuff etc...

Steam and that before is that it installs DirectX, those are SIM/SID files for certain and thus not usable without a decryption key.

Oh how I hate steam in times like these. Got a physical copy of the game lying right next to me, but can't install it yet Sad

I wonder when the publishers will realize that this is part of why the PC scene is slightly dying out to consoles. Its completely pointless to try to get the game early on PC since you won't be able to play it, but if I was desperate enough, which a lot of gamers tend to be, then I would just picked up the console version instead.

Hell, its considered good customer support for regular customers to give them the game early and "under" the counter until the release day.
