I just dedicated a post before yours to the things I don't like about the game. I'm not trolling, I don't like the game at all, it doesn't impress me by anything.
I was saying the same things before, and when the gameplay vid was released some of you were saying "Neon, why didn't you warn us enough", which might have been ironic, but still, some people have noticed "the other side" instead of cumming like a fanboy. Bethesda does little to none for PC crowd apart from releasing modding tools. The console audience is where it's at.
If you prefer "RPGs" ( ) where your stats are reflected by stars, then go ahead and buy TES VI: Hammerfell Kinect Edition
And the thing about Leo is another low for you Sabin, since my relationship with Leo has been sort of harsh lately.

About GOTY and Witcher 2 .. It was an impressive game, at least in the beginning of the first 2 acts, but the third one seemed rushed, unfinished and uninspired which brought the overall enjoyment of the game down quite a bit..
All that build up for nothing if you do not have the proper ending.
Maybe Skyrim will be the same, we'll see in next week or so.

I don't like the fact that there is info floating around that game is only 5 gb's heavy. I mean, New Vegas is like 6gb+. Maybe Epsilon can confirm/deny it?

It's true. It's been known for a while that the game is 6GB.
@Neon
As with anything, you are completely within your right to dislike/hate the game based on whatever criteria you feel like. I just think constantly bitching about it is doing you no favours, least of all when you start including the PLAYERS in your negative posts as well. People are "derps" now because Skyrim has constellations? Really? That's the angle you're going for?
*shrug*
It's your right after all.

You mean the empty lifeless dwarven town with some dwarves standing around repeating two conversations? The one with a very sterile design? I loved Witcher 2 also, but that example was probably the worst you could give. I'd take the "nameless villages" in the gameplay vids I saw

Yes, you are most fucking certainly right about that. Hate what you hate, love what you love, otherwise you'll just insult and troll. Definitely pathetic what this site has devolved to.

Actually guys, you are the ones that insult me all the time, without even responding to my post in which I described the things I don't like about the game:
Neon wrote: | I'm not hating the game, I just don't see the appeal of Oblivion 2.0.
Even with Epsilon reassuring that this feels more like New Vegas (which I loved), gameplay videos didn't impress me at all. The animations are dreadful (no excuse if this is a new engine), and graphics are just your typical medieval fantasy game.
I don't remember a game that impressed me as much as the dwarven town in The Witcher 2. Meanwhile in Skyrim there are just "nameless" villages.
Again, I'm not flaming. It's just that Bethesda games are aimed for a casual crowd, hence it's even more dumbed down than Oblivion.
Would you guys still be hyped about this game if Bethesda wasn't so open to modding? |
NO ONE responded to that, I guess when you don't like what the masses like, you're an idiot. (Oh hi, Oranos!) You don't see me saying Assassin's Creed is a great game for everyone.

Fist you're saying Epsilon reasured you by sayinf it is like NV, which is the best example to take in this case. Okay we agree. Then you say the animations are bad and graphics are average. Yes animations are bad, it's classic Bethesda. Graphics cannot be be judged by YT vids of the console version. What more is there to respond to?
