I wish people would stop getting so hung up on how many gigabytes a game is. Hey guys? Elite 2: Frontier is 720KB (yes, that's not even one MEGABYTE) and it had thousands of hours of gameplay, millions of planets.

Simple really, I'm not a pirate anymore. Used to be one, got caught, turned my life around and doing pretty well for myself now, but it has taken quite a while to get here.
Nobody ever thanks you for cracking or providing them with free games, if anything they complain and then wonder why the next release is taking so long. A lot happier since I was forced to stop that, eventhough it was costly at first, personally and otherwise. |

Yep, in no way does the amount of content in a game resemble the actual size of its data in bytes!

reminds me of derp comments on torrent sites where they flame each other how one game has to be shorter cuz it only has a few gigs.

Everyone, not willing to spend their nickles on a game, should be really thankful to all those scene and non-scene groups for bothering to release the games we want to play. Even to the Chinese wonderboys that as of late have proven quite the worthy crackers.

there have also been quite a few releases that where very huge, but had next to no gameplay (if you dont count replaying in different difficulty settings as gameplay. Yes, i m looking at you stranglehold!) |
