But even in its current husk the game is really good. Will finish it for certain. |
like i said previous, your interaction in this game is minimal, its like watching a movie and having to press play every 10 mins, thats about the level of interactivity.

Ever since L.A. Noire was announced for PC I've noticed a pretty much total lack of PR from Rockstar. In fact, it's like they don't care one way or another, they just hired some cheap third party company to port it and release it without marketing it. All the info has been supplied by the gaming media.

I found a fix for the cursor shit... just download nomousy -> http://www.apps4apps.filetap.com/nomousy.html and type nomousy /hide from a DOS window. Load the game and surprise! the cursor has gone. To restore the cursor just type nomousy and the cursor appears again

I double click on LANoire.exe and it just gives me an application load error (with and without that 3DM crack). |
I'm guessing I can't play it at all with this release.
FML, wasted a day or so dling it.

Can't i just use my online social media club account as i did with GTA IV?
Do i have to use the local only one?

I have to agree with you there. Lots of opportunities lost but still a great game, and writing is miles better than most of the games out there.

I sometimes wonder what they spent doing for the supposed 7-8 years of development? It doesn't look like an extensive title.

honestly this game is not bad. it is what it is.. but its a good adventure game. makes you feel like a detective investigating this shit, some of the time anyways. i would actually consider paying the 50$ for this should they patch it up and fix the performance/stutters etc...
i also enjoy beating guys down then going back to pick up my hat =p

I'm just gonna throw this out there... I'm betting that the ones who like the game were most likely Shenmue fans. The ones that hate the game? Also likely hated Shenmue.
Amirite?

ExTensive?
Anyway, Team Bondi was fired after "finishing" LA Noire.

In terms of gameplay and solving cases. You're actually forced, for instance, to choose the right questions-and-answers duos to progress further on.
