btw guys a Steam noob question:
if I buy and download Skyrim via Steam on my laptop, can I easily transfer the files and also play on my desktop? or do I have to download it on there too?

Not really...Steams Localization settings allows people outside of AU to grab the files, it's a "Safe" bet to allow 24 hours after unlock for a crack..similar to DNS Propagation..but rarely takes that long. I'd be willing to place a bet that the .exe replacement will be released within 2 hours of AU unlock.
As i've said though you will need to have the Steam DVD release downloaded and have Phoenix decrypt the .SID files as well...so a bit of preparation involved. You can also wait for the Proper release which will probably hit on 11-11-11 mid day or late.

You can copy/paste your files without any problems.

This is good news so far...
maybe there is a way to grab Clone DVD / download decrypted files or use Phoenix / use .exe replacement ?
I´ll passed the IND Clone so far `cause it doesn`t contain the day1 patch...
