I have trouble believing the game is this good..it almost makes me want to cry with happy tears that it didn't let me down.
I am very much looking forward to the modding scene to add some depth to the textures on the inside of some of the buildings..but that's a fairly standard thing with these games.

@Mister_s:
Setting uExterior Cell Buffer to 72 caused CTD-s for me, you could try setting it back to 36.
Also, if someone still has some trouble with mouse axis being f'd up, check this out:
http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1258624-possible-fix-for-mouse-issues-related-to-fps/
Basicly the the y axis is affected by the fps count. With low fps (like in a town) it can be very slow, while in a dungeon, when you have like 200 fps, it's fast as hell.
Tried the app in the link, and it worked...no more lightspeed mouse. It doesn't help with the slowdowns tho, since you can't limit the min fps.
So the reason why some people don't experince this, is beacuse the have v-sync on.
No need for an app. if someone can find some fps limiting tweaks.
(Oh and sorry if a workaround has already been posted)

Yup, FPS is the cause (I posted this yesterday), more importantly, they use FPS as timing for calculating Y axis, which is doubly dumb. First, no self respecting developer will create an engine, that uses FPS for timing, the industry is past that since, what, mid 90s? Second, it's clear Y axis is calculated by inputting mouse events to an algorithm created clearly for controller input, because the controller signals the position of the analog stick, and based on sensitivity setting as a multiplier, the game calculates how much in angle should the view be changed for each frame. That's how it's calculated, and that's why it's fucking stupid, and that's why sensitivity is inconsistent, because of changing FPS.
Mouse input has to be completely rewritten for this to be solved. I'd say this is a very major fuck up.

LOL I was just looking through the command list 'help - this engine seems to be ripped directly out of Fallout - it has references to VATS and Pipboy... although VATS would be quite useful here...!

anyone got this problem with the shadows , they seem to move at intervals
i mean one second the are still in place then all of the sudden they move to simulate the day and night cycle but it's very noticeable and annoying ,any tweaks to make shadow seamlessly move ?

It really is, theres one horrible thing about it; the interface, and a few minor nuisances, but none so big they can't be overlooked.
I was well surprised that it was this good.

I was hoping for a good game, being as how I enjoyed Oblivion/FO3/FONV, but I never dreamed it would be THIS good. It's fantastic so far, loving each and every second of it!

Yes there is a fix!! Found it on another site. I've not caught up with the thread yet but want to answer you.
Add this to bottom of your documents\games\skyrim.ini
fMouseHeadingYScale=0.0100
fMouseHeadingXScale=0.0200
Adjust the yscale up or down to your preference.

im wondering if anyone else have the problem that the game just seems a lil too bright ?
im runnign the game 1 notch from the lowest on brightness to get it perfect right now
and the monitor is perfectly calibrated according to lagom.nl, infact im 100% sure it aint the monitor/windows settings
so im wondering why this might be ?, some setting in skyrim messes up the graphic driver in someway maybe ?, noticed the renderer is pretty funky also as it doesnt handle overlays at all. maybe related somehow
not a REAL problem, would just be cool to know what is up, first game thats way too bright, usually its spot on using default ingame

Ok,i really do my best to like this game but so far its not that good imo.Looks like crap (didnt try one of those INI's from JB yet) and feels like playing "Frankenstein 3D" with the "Xtra clunky movement DLC"
I rolled one of those Cats and i cant use that race-special "Night vision" cause it wont let itself assign to one of the mousebuttons (all the other spells work tho).Anyone with the same issue?

Erk, lovely... looks like I encountered my first bug and, to be honest, it's a game breaker. My one-handed skill is penalised from 41 down to 15. The number is in red I've checked and I have no ill effects or diseases or curses. I've tried resting, waiting, quitting, reloading, dropping my inventory, nothing works.
For the love of god, please... someone tell me they know how to fix this?

Some minor graphical glitches on my end (the NPC is semi-transparent):
Spoiler: | |
Could be because I'm running some weird beta release of future drivers (8.911, 8.912 or something), and was only visible at that particular point.
