Aye, it's very rare (impossible?) that games requires IOS files that aren't already present in the firmware itself, most of the time you should be ok -- I guess these are included for people still running, say, 4.1E as opposed to 4.4E

It's zelda. It's a sacrilege it rate a zelda game anything less than perfect... unless you're a fag and you disliked the cell shaded version which was orsom btw,

What they have "done" with it is finally pushing this fucking series forward. Twilight Princess was a good game, but borderlined on "stale as fuck".
If they followed that same formula AGAIN shit would have hit the fan.
Do we have a "deal with it" smiley in here somewhere? |

oh wow you can just hear the reviewer was never a real zelda fan  and was forced to play this after he suffered through all the other games. The hate for the wii is so obvious  I <3 gametrailers reviews. I sometimes agree 70% with them.

There's one Gametrailers guy I normally agree with, Harvey / Hilary Goldstein?
Sometimes he's overly artistic in his descriptions, its like he's desperate to show he has a big vocabulary but overall he's pretty much near the mark for me.
Just looked and its him doing the review, as I don't have a Wii (yet) I'd listen to him but as a HUGE Zelda fan I'd still like to make my own judgement. Never got a chance to play much of the DS games as my DS died but loved Windwalker on the Cube and who could not have loved Zelda on the Snes...

Jeez I'm glad I didn't come here b4 I spun up zelda on my young fella's wii . I may have domne something rash to get zelda goin without just trying it 1st.
It has a wiikey plus homebrew installed using the old zelda hack. The console is old running 3.4e
Trouble is so few wii games now I forget what to do.
This time I patched the PAL version of skyward sword with brickblocker and it wouldn't boot straight from teh wiikey (most likely cause I softmoded the thing back in 09 n haven't updated firmware since) .
It did boot straight off the homebrew channel using neogamma r8 beta 7 though. I dunno if the kid is losing out on any good wii updates by runnin old firmware, but games boot no worries.
