came to a city i never was before, guards told me he knew me from somehwere, i denied, he said yeah , im that criminal blabla ... had to pay 5 pieces of gold to clear my name ...

word sure gets around in skyrim ^^

On another note, came across a bunch Imperial scums on the road, they sure didnt reconize me, got off mky horse, wanted to talk to them ... they somehow ended up decapitated ... none of them turning hostile or anythong, despite me killing their mates on front of them Smile.

But thats minor stuff i can live with hehe. The good parts more that outweight the bad ones ^^ By like 1000:1 hehe.

I like that you can avoid the fine by killing all the witnesses. Whacked a couple of hunters by accident. 1000 bounty message appeared. Killed their buddy. Killed the last witness - 1000 bounty removed. Very Happy

Damn, the guards at Riften really seem to be coming in waves. Do the effects of your malicious deeds done to citizens wear off in time? Like having your bounty price decrease, for instance?

Ok, I love this game except for one thing.

I'm playing a sneaky thief, yet the game insists I have a glowing ball of light in one hand AT ALL FECKING TIMES.

I hope either:
Having a spell "equipped" doesn't effect sneaking
or
There's a button that I can't find to turn the fucking thing off.

I can't even hotkey a second weapon or shield, as hotkeys only seem to work for main hand.

I unlocked a peasant's house by mistake thinking it was a locked chest (there happened to be some sort of hutch right next to the door) in the presence of guards. And now it seems the whole of Skyrim is over my head trying to apprehend me! Mad

Not vanilla, no. There was a mod to decrease bounty over time in Oblivion .. but there's nothing for Skyrim yet. How long is your prison sentence? You're probably best off just getting it over and done with since this will never go away.
