What about strength attribute .. Where is it? when I level up I can only choose stamina, health and magicka .. I have noticed that sometimes when I level up I get more inventory capacity but is it because I have leveled up or is it because of health or stamina?

The attributes were lost during the streamlining process. Deal with it. *g*

I'm so glad I paid money for this game, the developers of titles like this one deserves each and every single penny.

Yes, yes I'm back.

Another thing is that NPCs that I have in my group seems to have a bad AI while I am jumping over a rock to get over a river the npc is running to the closest bridge to get over..

yeah thats funny too, i was in a house and fought dudes, suddenly i hear fighting from another room which i havent been in yet. Turned out it was my npc that finally showed up after taking the scenic route and used the front door.

Making your way up the mountain in a snowstorm and suddenly discovering stuff like that.

How can you "suddenly discover" something if you have the compass active? Wink

It shows you pretty much everything. I prefer to play without it and discover things on my own.

Not really watching the compass, and it really doesnt show what it is exactly.

There is stuff not viewable on the compass. I found an altar that was not on the map or compass. There was some stuff on it, so when I helped myself to it, something happened! Wink

It restores stamina, but slows stamina regen after that for half a minute or something.

My gripe with the compass is that it actually indicates landmarks, that spoils the "surprise" for me because i KNOW there's something there. Hence I prefer to disable it and the floating quest arrow as well. I always refer to the map when I want to see where I need to go. Although Skyrim's map isn't that much help, being covered with clouds and not clearly displaying roads.

I am curious..has anyone found any use for rotating the items other than the beginning dungeon? I was kind of hoping they would elaborate on that neat idea a bit more, but honestly I havn't done too much of the main quest, and i'd imagine some of it is there.

If you're referring to getting lock combinations with this method in your post, then no, I haven't encountered any other uses.

Sabin, how do you load the files? Readme says to tick loose files under data files, but that option in the launcher is greyed out. Sad

I have no idea how you people are getting so many bugs and issues. Very strange. Anyhow, open Skyrim.ini and look at the [LAUNCHER] section.

bEnableFileSelection=1

That line should be there and it should be set to "1" -- if not, set it or make it. The data files option will work then.

Just checked it. It's set to "1" already. Not sure what I'm doing wrong there.

And hey, it's not my fault this game is acting all funky on me. It's not like I'm doing it on purpose man. Very Happy

there's a second one of those with the rotating items claw.

and yeah the landmarks thing too, be nice if there was a "near but not discovered" tick or icon or whatever.

i've got stamina potions for days too, it's health ones i need, channeled healing spell replaces a shield nicely though.
i meant getting drunk anyway.

actually, food in general isn't it?

i've really never bothered even picking it up, only ate a few at the few start, 'dat regeneratin' health Forever Alone

There are quite a few claws. You'll need 3 just to solve a rather long quest.

what's the command on the skyrim.ini to load loose files?

I keep checking it in the launcher but when I get back there it's unchecked.

That's good to hear.. just the claws though? Seems they could of done alot of stuff with it as well.. like putting symbols on parchment for you to find correct ways through Dwemer dungeons and such. I like the idea, hopefully they will take it further in future games.

The MERP team is planning on switching their mod to Skyrim as opposed to Oblivion as it was until now. Let's hope they can do that and finally finish the mod.

Well the claws are the keys to the dungeon, the backstory for those dungeons is pretty cool. I'll let you find out which quest this is. The reward is a pretty decent amulet

go do it now, it's worth a full playthrough each in batman arkham asylum, fallout 3 and fallout new vegas as well.

seriously, try it in f1 2011 too if you like racing, never had so much added to a racing title ever but for driving test drive unlimited 2 is flawless in 3D and adds a ton.

just enable your shortcut keys and find a targeting reticule that's in the game to adjust your convergence with so the horizon and the reticule are both lined up.
the cowboy gun is the easiest type of thing to do it with, the ironsight hole drilled in the metal.

Batman and Witcher 2 was awesome in 3D (witcher 2 best use of 3D what i have seen). Anyway just tried on 3D skyrim quickly, the same place where i took that screen. Seems to be running solid 60fps on everything highest Smile Also looks damn nice (depth is very nice, and convergence is pretty much perfect).

Ubermap FTW.

~edit~

Ah, nvm... seems it's a bit glitchy at the moment. No local map and most areas don't work as well as Riverwood. It sounds fabulous though -- so roll on Creation Kit to fix it! Very Happy

yup, nearly every bethesda game lately is near perfect in 3D vision too, water is....... well.... painful in fallout 3 if you have reflections on it enabled though.

anyone getting random silent CTDs sometimes? seems like it might be related to alt-tabbing, doesn't happen often, like 3 times total so far.

only thing changed is the ridiculous shadow texture size to 512.
